the past in this failing light?

what my life has done to me?
Might it be a time to see
any errors of my way, and
might it be the time to see
why we are no longer We?
Might it be a time to see
that judgement time is near?
Might it be a time to see
that it is our own voice we need to hear?
Might it be a time to see
the challenge that others bear?
Might it be the time to see
that we just weren't aware, or
Might it be the time to see
that we really didn't care?
Might it be a time to see
if we would do it again, or
Might it be a time to see
if we were just insane?
Might it be a time to see
that we tried and failed, but
Might it be a time to see
the failure should be hailed.
Might it be a time to see
that no ones life is wasted, but
Might it be a time to see
what each of us have tasted.
Might it be a time to see
if we should give thanks
to all those we've encountered
as we've come through the ranks?
