I fear I did indeed "make it up".  I have recently written the true story and it is not a whole lot less convoluted.  Perhaps I shall post the true story next.  Just let me say that my wife never in hr life had on a pair of overalls and she was in college 'fore I ever laid eyes on her.  I, on the other hand, did wear overalls until I quit dressing - I just wear a pull over shirt, walking shorts, and slippers and I almost never go out of the house and that is to go visit the doctor.  I suppose it was all those years I had to dress up as a pastor, and then I could wear anything I choose as a retired man.  Overalls are the britches of choice for me.   ß0ß
