Heat oven to 350° and grease sides of tube pan or 8x8 pan.  In pan put:

2 cups rhubarb

½ cup sugar

1, 3oz. pkg strawberry jello powder (dry)

2 cups mini marshmallows

 

Top this with your favorite cake batter or cake mix if you prefer.  Bake for approx. 1 hour, or till cake tests done.  (I use the following "scratch" cake)

 

½ cup margarine

1 cup sugar

2 eggs                      Cream margarine and sugar, then stir in eggs.

 

1¾ cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt                  

Stir dry ingredients together and add alternately to creamed mixture with

½ cup milk and ½ tsp vanilla
