Do any of you use your outside grill?  How do you fix Brats?  Do you have a special method?  Any other tips and recipes for the grill?

We grill all year long here, but have never done brats. I would think you would do them just like you do any meat. I usually put them in a frying pan with a little water, and cook till done.

We will be cooking Brats for 20 people when the weather clears up - we have had to postpone it for over three weeks now!!  We have a recipe for Beer Batter.  I guess you can do it two ways - first, cook in the batter and then throw them on the grill - the other, grill first, batter last.

We finally had the party last month.  Cooked outside, had the food inside.  Did the batter first and grilled after.  I guess they were good.  I selected a hamburger instead because I looked up the calorie count for the Brats.
