The scene opens up backstage at the First Union Arena, in Wilkes-Barrie, Pennsylvania; location of the upcoming edition of SKCW Mayhem!. It seems the scene is taking place inside of the locker room of one, C.K. Syndrome, the Dark Sanctuary as he calls it. He is sitting in his wooden ornate throne that he had made, and began to speak.

C.K. Syndrome: "Last week, I was screwed over by Scott Walker who was foolish enough to pass up a World Championship match to just prevent me from getting it. He's going to get his at the hands of the Masked Icon on OverDrive!, so I'm not worried about having to get payback myself. He'll handle it for me, and I'll enjoy watching the destruction. However, a good thing happened on OverDrive!, a very good thing at that. I became the number one contender to the Impact Championship and at Halloween Havoc, I get my title shot. And after Halloween Havoc, when I leave with the Impact title securely around my waist, I will wed my Dark Jezebel, thus making it a true perfection of a trifecta."

C.K. smiles devlishly, he's been looking forward to Halloween Havoc for quite some time. He had planned on marrying Dark Jezebel around this time and him becoming the Impact Champion would give him the perfect incentive to put the finishing touches on things. C.K. gruffly clears his throat as he speaks.

C.K. Syndrome: "As for my opponent on Mayhem!, Chris Kleen, I'd cut a decent promo on him if he proved to be worth my time, but alas he isn't. He's like every other superstar out there who can't come up with something orignal to face the Sickest Man in Sports Entertainment. He doesn't get why Vince McMahon puts his faith in me, why don't we break it down. I made it to the third round of the Lethal Lottery, I'm a former North American Champion as well as a two-time Xtreme Champion, I'm also the biggest man on the active roster who has talent, beyond the Masked Icon who comes and goes as he pleases. The other reason is I get things done. I took out Matt Hardy for Vince when he asked me to, and I'm going to take you out tonight, Chris. Vince should send your sorry ass off to Genocide, so V.I.P can deal with you ripping them off. The Empire is just going to run all over you, Chris, get used to it."
