Things focus in on Kelly Justice who is sitting backstage on a steel chair, just an ordinary steel chair. Around her are the basics, trunks, and other steel chairs, there's nothing really special around her. Kelly flicks her hair back as she begins to speak. Kelly Justice: "I remember the days when I would just sit back here and watch things happen. After all, before I would spend most of the show in my locker room, studying matches. I wasn't a big superstar, I was just plain old Kelly. Funny thing is even with all the success I've got, I haven't changed much. I hang around backstage, watch possible future opponents. I haven't gotten a big ego like other girls who if they were in my position, might have gotten. Sort of like the girl I beat on Genocide this past week, Sophia Phillips. She was where I am now, hot streak, considered one of the top upcoming divas and was on top of the world. However, her ego overloaded herself, and she collapsed. She is barely holding onto the Women's Tag Team Championships with Carmen Moreno and even that she's close to losing. I'm not like Sophia, I'm better as a competitior but that's because of hard work and determination, not because of my ego." Kelly sofly nodded her head, she had proven she was better than Sophia and now she wanted to take that next step in the right directon. She stopped the nod and began to speak. Kelly Justice: "It was my hard work and skill that allowed me to defeat Sophia but as well as Scarlett. Everyone thought I was walking into that match, doomed to failure. However, I beat Scarlett and became on the same footing as she is, when it comes to the Women's North American Championship. It was just the thing I needed to help me make a splash on this platform known as Genocide. I knew I had to do it in the ring because I don't have a giant history to go off on, nor do I have the connections to help land me the title matches, nor do I want them. I want to earn everything I get, and I will. Sort of like one of my opponent, Scarlett Davis. Yeah, Scarlett, we've been down this road before, but I do believe this is the first time that neither one of us has had the title. You were the woman I won my first title from by pinning you when you least expected it, it would be ironic if I pinned you in order to make the jump up with my title history. I'd find some good humor in it, but I don't think our other opponent would have such a laugh." Kelly shook her head, Stacy Mason might not find it exactly so humorous if Kelly pinned Scarlett to win the gold. Kelly smiled slightly, just thinking about Stacy's recent reactions to her as she spoke. Kelly Justice: "Stacy Mason, the reigning Champion, a woman I also have a slight bit of history with. After all, she knocked me out of the Queen of the Ring Tournament, when I was added as a surprise entrant. It was at that time Stacy made her big change to become such a bitch. I might not have won then, but I will win now. The really funny thing is Stacy says I'm unfit to hold such a title. Let me clue you in on something, Stacy, something I did that you clearly didn't. I won the OverDrive! Divas Lethal Lottery, putting an end to the two year winning streak of Trish Monroe. You can't say you did that, all you did was make the finals and lose to your sister. We might have something in common that we both lost to Rose Thorn, but I think Rose would say I put up a bigger fight than you did. I might have even come closer to winning the belt from her than you might have. But really, Stacy, you can think whatever you so please about me. That won't stop me from going out there and winning the title, Stacy, and calling myself the new Women's North American Champion. After all, tonight, both Scarlett and yourself, Stacy, will find that Justice will be served!"
