Stable History: The Triple Threat

SKCW.Com will be looking at some of the histories of stables in the company. This Edition is The Triple Threat

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas: The "Franchise" Shane Douglas is the father of the Triple Threat. Shane first formed the group in late 2003 early 2004. The reason for Shane to make the group was the fact at the time Shane was SCWE World Heavyweight Champion. Shane felt he needed back up and the first choice for the group was panCAKEman. Shane would get "panCAKEman" a superstar who was notorious for losing to evolve into Matt Walker and the rest as they say is history. Shane and Matt are the only two superstars to remain in every version of the Triple Threat and while Shane is semi retired now, Shane maintains a "mentor" role in the group. Shane Douglas during the Triple Threat has had two valet's by his side. The first was Francine who appeared in the early version for a few months and ever since then its been Jenn Hardy by his side. Shane Douglas is still refered to as the "Mastermind" of the group.

The "Real Deal, No Gimmicks Needed" Matt Walker: Matt Walker was Shane Douglas's first choice for the group. At the time, Matt was wrestling as panCAKEman and his career was going no where. After joining the group, Matt would drop the panCAKEman gimmick and go on to win his first of many Royal Rumbles. That same year at Wrestlemania he became World Champion for the first time in his career. Matt has remained loyal to Shane through out his career and the Triple Threat. Matt is the only guy to be an active wrestler for the entire Triple Threat's history. Matt currently serves as "Leader" of the group although he still defers to Shane Douglas whenever he makes an appearance. Matt has had two differnet manager's during his time in the group. The first being Jasmine and in 2005, Matt dumped Jasmine for his current wife Mallory. Matt currently is the Leader of the Group.

Do or Die: Do or Die became the third man of the original Triple Threat. Do or Die seemed like an odd choice for the group considering he didn't exactly fit in with Matt or Shane. Do or Die was nearly released for his actions while a member of "High Tymes" yet Die would go on to become a respected member of the group. Die would remain loyal to the group until his release from the company. Die would like Matt and Shane also have alot of success mostly in Tag Team Situations. Do or Die during his time in the group was managed by Amy Walker. Do or Die is not currently in SKCW.

Mikey G: Mikey G became the fourth man in the group after injuries suffered to Shane Douglas at Wrestlemania. Mikey G was a shocking addition much like Matt Walker was. Mikey G at the time was a very popular superstar yet he turned his back on the fans to join the group and immediatly found success teaming with Do or Die to become a Tag Team Champion. Many wondered how Mikey was even able to be apart of the group due to Shane Douglas still appearing despite being out of action. During Mikey's time in the group, The Triple Threat featured Douglas, Walker, Die, and Mikey reguarly although Douglas served mostly as Matt's manager during the time and it became the first of many that the group would consist of four males. Mikey G did not have a manager in the group during his time in the stable. Mikey G is not curently in SKCW.

Jason Walker: Jason Walker would join the group in the second version of the Triple Threat. The original Triple Threat was split up due to a Brand Split but eventually Matt Walker and Shane Douglas put the group back together and this time brought Jason Walker into the fold. Jason who was extremly loyal towards Matt found great success in the group and was another example of what a wise career move joining the group was. Jason during his time in the group was managed by Zoe Mason. Jason Walker is not currently in SKCW.

Jerome Morris: Jerome Morris was a surpising edition to the group considering Jerome's apparant hatred of Matt Walker. However, it would seem that time heals all wounds as Jerome and Matt would join together and Jerome's career took off as a result. Jerome thrived in the group and went from a "mid carder" to a "main eventer" and joined the long list of stars whose careers took off after joining the group. Jerome was managed by his wife Trish while apart of the group. Jerome remains in SKCW as Leader of his Jeroman Empire and appears to be "allied" with the Triple Threat.

Ryan Walker: Ryan was never an official member of the group as far as a wrestler went but was apart of it serving as Matt Walker's bodyguard. Ryan would help assure that Matt Walker continued to have great success. Ryan's tenure in the group was very similar to Shane Douglas's who often times would not compete and be "replaced" by somebody who could. Ryan was managed by his wife Rian while in the group. Ryan is currently not in SKCW but will appear from time to time and Matt still refers to him as a member of the stable.

Dylan Monroe: SKCW's Only A-List Superstar. Dylan Monroe was originally added while under the name Dark Marine. Dylan was the man who originally helped bring in Matt Walker into the company back in 2002. Matt would repay Dylan by bringing him into the Triple Threat and much like everyone before him, Dylan's career would really take off. At first, Dylan proved himself to be a super Tag Team Superstar but Dylan thrived for greatness and eventally departed Tag Team Wrestling after turning against his partner and fellow Triple Threat member Jason Win. Dylan would take his new found freedom all the way to the SKCW Title. Dylan's manager in the group is Zoe Mason. Dylan remains apart of the Triple Threat.

Jason Win: Jason Win formally known as J-Win was a former partner of Matt Walker during Matt's panCAKEman days. Matt brought Jason into the group along with "Dark Marine" as the two were teamed together as Black Ice and together the two would embark on greatness cementing there status as one of SKCW's greatest teams of all time. However, Dylan would grow tired of Tag Team Wrestling and eventually turn against Jason and Matt Walker would support the decision and officially consider Jason out of the group. Jason Win is currently not in SKCW.

Maven: For weeks, The Triple Threat promised a third member to replace Jason Win. Rumors swirled about alot of candidates but at Psychotic Games, it was revealed that Maven was the man. In what proved to be a major addition, Maven would aid Matt Walker in retaining his World Title. Maven who already has proven himself to be a great player makes the current Triple Threat arguably the greatest version of all times. Maven is currently managed by Abigal Morris and Maven is also a current member of the Triple Threat.
