Stable History: Stratusfying Canadians

SKCW.Com will be looking at some of the histories of stables in the company. This Edition is The Stratusfying Canadians

Christian: The Leader of the S.C. Without Christian there would be no S.C. Christian served as the figurehead and was the backbone of the group. What made the S.C. the power house stable was Christian's success in the ring. Christian would win World Title after World Title during the S.C.'s run and was the face of WCW. Christian's leadership also helped elevate the other S.C. members to stardom. All these reasons are why many list Christian up with the likes of Triple H, Matt Walker, Matt Hardy, and Kurt Angle.

Trish Stratus: Christian may have been the Leader of the S.C. but the S.C. wouldn't have been the same without Trish Stratus. Trish was the female version of Christian. Trish was Christian's "Queen" and dominated the WCW Women's Division much like Christian Dominated the Men's Division. Together Christian and Trish helped control the fortune of WCW. Ironically the only person who ever presented a real challenge to Trish Stratus was one of her fellow S.C. members.

Tyson Tomko: The "Problem Solver" of the S.C. Tyson came in after he was hired by Christian and Trish to serve as there protector and over time, Tyson would become Christian's best friend. Tyson during his S.C. days often spoke a language that nobody could understand except for Christian and Trish. To this day, Tyson states he would quit whoever he works for to rejoin Christian. Tyson was the muscle of the S.C. and many believe that the S.C. was successful based off there three parts with the third part being Tyson.

Test: "Canada's #1 Big Man" as he likes to be known was a major force in the S.C. during its infant stages. When the S.C. first formed many doubted it could succeed due to the fact Christian was not a house hold name yet but when Christian convinced Test to join under him, it gave the S.C. instant credibility. That's not to say though that Test accepted his role as #2 easily as Test and Christian often bickered between the two of them over what direction to go. Many believed it as only a matter of time until Test tore the group apart but Test was injured before a Christian/Test war could occur.

Tara Rayge: Tara Rayge begin her SKCW/KSCWE Career as part of The S.C. Tara was brought in by Trish Stratus and Tara did very well as the #2 diva in the group proving to be just as good as Trish was. Tara also had nearly every single S.C. male outside of Tyson Tomko and Test after her attention. Tara though would have so much success in the ring she would eventually clash with Trish Stratus. This would result in Tara's exit from the group and Tara would be the one that would end Trish's reign of terror over the Women's Division.

Lance Storm: Lance Storm started out as the #3 Superstar in the S.C. but would move up to being Christian's Right Hand Man after Test's injury. Storm proved to be very loyal towards Christian and never went against Christian or Trish's orders. In turn, Storm was also very successful in the ring as Storm proved to have his most success during The S.C.'s run.

Petey Williams: Petey Williams joined the S.C. as its Juniorweight Representive. Petey never did manage to bring the gold home but Petey proved to be a loyal member to the cause. Petey at times did not get along with most of the other S.C. members as Petey was apart of a group of the S.C.'s men all attempting to gain the attention of Tara Rayge. Some of this is what led to the eventual downfall of the S.C.

Edge: Edge was a guy who was in and out of the S.C. alot. Edge was able to get away with this due to his relationship with Christian but Edge never was able to make up his mind if he wanted to be his own man or not. At one point he even tried to challenge Christian but ultimatly was over powered. Edge also did not get along with the other members after winning the favor of Tara Rayge.

Val Venis: The "Big Valbowski" joined the S.C. towards the end of its run. Val who at the time was competing as Sean Morley betrayed long time friend Eric Bischoff as he aided Christian's efforts. Nobody is really sure what Christian promised to Val and Morley would ultimatly suffer an injury before departing the group.

William Regal: William Regal joined towards the end of its run along with Sean "Val Venis" Morley. Regal was another surprise additions and Regal did not do much during his time in the group but none the less William Regal was apart of the S.C.
