SKCW.Com will be looking at some of the histories of stables in the company. This Edition is Black Ice

 

Dylan Monroe: Dylan Monroe was the "star" of Black Ice. Dylan before forming Black Ice was apart of D-Generation X while still wrestling under his previous name of "Dark Marine" but with the new name came a new attitude and a new change. Dylan turned against D-X along with then girlfriend Zoe Mason and Dylan brought in long time friend and sometimes partner J-Win who would now be known as Jason Win and the trio would form "Black Ice". Together Monroe and Win would go on to dominate the Tag Team Division and Black Ice would send Monroe from a "Rising Star" to a Main Event Star. The trio would break up mostly due to Monroe's ego but Monroe and Win would later patch things up as part of VIP and to this day "Black Ice" still exists all be it with just Monroe and Win.

 

Jason Win: Jason Win had competed off and on in the company and did not have much success under the name of J-Win. However, it was his return at the 2007 Royal Rumble that would change his luck. While J-Win did not last long in the event he made a well enough impression to earn a new contract with the company and from then on he would team up with former partner Dylan Monroe and together with Dylan's girlfriend Zoe would form "Black Ice". As part of Black Ice, Jason would get his first real taste of success as he and Dylan would go on to become one of the greatest Tag Team's in history although the group would split due to Monroe's ego. Jason recently re-united with Monroe and to this point, Jason Win now finds himself in a similar position that Dylan was in during "Black Ice's" intial run and that is of a "Rising Singles Star". Jason owes it all to the group.

 

Zoe Mason: Without Zoe, Black Ice may have never gotten off the ground. It was that special something that Zoe brought to the group that helped get it over. Zoe also earned a reputation of being a stable killer because she had jumped from the bWo to D-X then from D-X to Black Ice each time leading to the group she left's demise. Zoe mostly did this due to her supporting her then boyfriend Dylan Monroe and Zoe even betrayed once more when Dylan and Jason had a falling out as Zoe stood by Dylan. However, Zoe and Dylan would ultimatly have there own falling out after Dylan unsuccessfully chased Kristin Tuselli and then would hook up with Lauren West which would lead to there split. Rumors persist the break up with Monroe had a very rough effect on Zoe Mason who with the exception of a short return to try to get revenge against Dylan's new girlfriend has not been seen since.
