SKCW Royality

SKCW.Com will be looking back at the career's of the past King and Queen of The Ring's contining with SKCW

Jamie Gunz: Jamie Gunz won the King of The Ring in 2006 during the SKCW Tournament. That year marked the first year of a single tournament. Jamie Gunz was already a well established star but his KOR Victory would elevate him up to an even higher level. This was not Jamie's first KOR Tournament however as he competed in the 2005 WCW Tournament losing in the first round to Matt Matlock but that would serve as extra motivation for Jamie. Jamie would defeat Bloodshed in the opening round. Then would defeat Shark in a well fought match in the second round. Jamie then would defeat long time rival Brandon Davis in the 3rd Round. In the Semi-Finals, Jamie would meet his greatest rival Jerome Morris and would emerge victorious to advance to the finals. In the finals, Jamie would meet The "Legend Killer" Randy Orton would would emerge victorious. Jamie would use his KOR Victory to become a World Champion but shortly after losing the title disappeared for a year in a half before recently returning. Jamie would not enter last year's King of The Ring Tournament but has entered this year.s Jamie is currently apart of the OverDrive! Roster

Alyssa Amidala: Alyssa Amidala entered her first Queen of The Ring Tournament in 2006 and would go on to win it. Alyssa was already an established star but was just trying to prove her dominance over the divas and did just that. Alyssa would defeat Fake Steph in the first round. Then would knock off Sara in the second round and then Scarlett in the Semi-Finals setting up an epic battle for the finals. In the finals, Alyssa would defeat the legendary Stacy Mason to become Queen of The Ring. Alyssa would follow up her Queen of The Ring Victory with several more Women's Title Reigns and also became the only person in history to win the Royal Rumble and Queen of The Ring in the same year. Alyssa would never again enter the Queen of The Ring Tournament but has entered the King of The Ring Tournament looking to make history and become the first woman to become King of The Ring. Alyssa Amidala is currently apart of the OverDrive! Roster

AJ Styles: AJ Styles entered in his first King of The Ring Tournament in 2005 during the WCW Tournament losing in the first round to Brandon Davis. Then the next year in 2006 during the SKCW Tournament, AJ would dramatically improve by advancing into the third round before finally being defeated by Jerome Morris. In 2007 though everything came together for Styles. AJ would defeat Californian in the opening round then would defeat Jason Morris in the second round for the second straight year and in the Semi-Finals, Styles would knock off Randy Orton and finally would defeat Booker T to become King of The Ring. Styles was unable to win the World Championship but did permantily put himself among the legends of this business. Styles is currently entered in the current tournament hoping to successfully defend his crown. AJ Styles is currently apart of the Genocide Roster

Sara: Sara first entered the Queen of The Ring Tournament in 2006 losing in the second round to eventual winner Alyssa Amidala. Sara despite already being a huge star was out to prove she too could become Queen of The Ring and again entered the tournament in 2007. Sara would not be denied this time. Sara defeated Erin Roberts in the opening round and then Scarlett in the second round. In the Semi-Finals, Sara would knock off another rising star Alexis Adams before finally defeating Flame in the finals to become Queen. The win would send Sara into a brutal series of battles with Women's Champion and previous Queen of The Ring Alyssa Amidala. Sara is not entered in this year's Queen of The Ring Tournament due to a minor injury. Sara is currently apart of the OverDrive! Roster
