I tried to do this before, but nobody responded....whores. So just rate the last movies you've seen whether they were in theatres, dvds, whenever, even if you've already seen them My Best Friend's Girl- 6/10 ...i hate Dane Cook, and I thought it was only slightly funny Spiderman- 9/10 ...great great movie, i've seen it like 274892 times though Breaking The Rules- 3/10 ...awful, just awful. it was on a free movie channel so i gave it a shot. its from 1992 and it was just horrendous lol |

Iron Man is Marvel, however you were also right about Justice Leauge, they are doing that as well the only difference is that where DC is being dumb and just using a bunch of no ones and blondes Marvel is actually using the actors so it will be Edward Norton, RDJ, Whomever plays Thor and whomever plays Captain America. Also, I would assume Ultimate Nick Fury, since they used Jackson and yes he was at the end for like 20 second teaser I do agree with you on Gwyneth. Aside from the fact that she's a horrible Pepper the character was poorly done and they implied a deeper relationship between the two then which happens and made it seem like they might end up together. When in reality she gets with Happy which is the limo driver [or at least for a long period of time, but never is she with Tony in such a way] With the point of the movie being called Iron Man, I can understand if there wasn't enough Iron Man for you but I guess I just understand where they were coming from. In the case of X-Men Brian Singer didn't even want to do the first movie, he wanted to skip right in but they needed to do an 'introduction movie' Iron Man the movie is the same concept it's the birth of Iron Man. The title in itself is a marketing ploy, they would never call it "Tony Stark" because even to people who arnt into comics and such you know who Iron Man is. The movie was his 'birth' But the reason you didn't like Iron Man is part of the reason I did. I love that it wasn't 2hrs of Iron Man flying around non stop, that's overkill and a cgi failing. I also agree the final scene failed in a sense, but im highly against lots of CGI which is the reason I've yet to see Hulk i do not relish the idea of watching two giant CGI monsters wrestle...at all I don't mean to come across like im knocking your right to have an opinion because i'm not trying to to I just really...really like movies. I love to talk about them, watch them, study them, be around them. Movies is my passion. And so I look at this as more of a debate/discussion kind of thing and I'm just giving counter points to your stance. As for Joyride 2, it comes out tuesday unless you live in Canada and then I'm not sure I havn't asked my Canadian blockbuster twin her thoughts on it But if you like horror movies, I also recommend Rest Stop and then its sequel Rest Stop two that just came out, Reeker, and a personal fav of mine Feast and then of course Feast 2 is also out on tuesday I like my horror movies |

Blarg, I totally skipped my point for bringing up X-Men The reason X-men had to have the start up and the reason Iron Man is a 'start' is because Hollywood likes to assume we're stupid. They want to have you get to know the character, and then the 'more' part comes in the later movies. Which, as i said was my X-Men thing. The example of a movie not caring about such a thing is Serenity, a movie I adore as i'd kill for firefly to still be on. Serenity, is more pushed towards the fanboys and girls and this they don't explain any of the characters backstory that was learned in the show and they talk about things learned on there. To start Iron Man in the middle with him already established as Iron Man the super hero and not Tony Stark the flawed man becoming Iron Man is because that would imply that everyone seeing the movie already knows about him. They know how he became Iron Man, why he became Iron Man, so a movie where he is already Iron Man wouldn't work. Batman Begins restarted and even Dark Knight as we touched on are in basic Batman Movies but we all agreed DK was more about Joker and Two Face/Harvey Dent. This movie, for it to work needed to introduce Tony and we had to like Tony the man before we'd like Tony as Iron Man |

I had to jump into this convo so please over look my jumping around. The whole Justice League movie idea would totally suck under there ideas for it. Having unknowns in all the roles is lame. They should go with those who are already in the roles although in most I think they should overlook Superman Returns which busted and use the Smallville Characters in there own roles seeing as Smallville has been such a hit on TV and there was a major out cry for the Superman Returns movie to use some of the Smallville Cast anyway seeing as Christopher Reeves past the torch to Tom Welling not Brandon Routh who sucked ass. Also now to your "introduction" theme. All the superhero movies have done it. From Spiderman to Superman to Batman Begins to X-Men. It's just what they do and I agree that it would be lame if they just started up already established because then at some point they would most likely still go back and do a "prequel" to explain it anyway. |

I liked Smallville and I like Tom Welling I think he does a bang up job, but I can understand why they didn't use him. Tom Welling is 'young' Superman and I do believe Superman Returns was a not so direct sequel to the older movies. But, I can see the reason they didn't use him. Because if they'd used Tom it wouldn't have been Superman the movie, it would have been Smallville the movie and I think they were trying to avoid that. But either way, I hear they plan to do another |

I thought right, they are going to do another but its going to be a restart, which appears to be very popular lol Premise Warner Bros. is currently planning to reboot the film series. With the financial and critical success of The Dark Knight, Warners said of the reboot Superman film, "We're going to try to go dark to the extent that the character allows it."[48] Legendary Pictures president Thomas Tull said "Superman needs a powerful antagonist, a worthy opponent".[49] Tull also wants to evoke Superman as an "angry God".[50] |

No I never thought you were knocking me, and I didn't mean to come off as an uptight asshole when I said "I'm entitled to my own opinion" I was just letting everyone know this is all what I think, cause I know not alot of people agree with me. But as far as Superhero movies go, I think Spiderman 1 is the perfect example of a Superhero movie. There are alot of scenes of him as Spiderman but there are also side stories involving him/Mary Jane/Harry and just life as a teenager. But I also think they built his character up well too, just in 2 short hours. And I also liked X-Men 1 and all their sequels. I guess Iron Man just didn't agree with me lol But I will see Justice League regardless |

Ok, I know changing topic from DC back to Marvel, but I know there was mention of Thor for the Avengers movie, but I seen recently, probably just a rumor though, but someone said I think on Marvel.com or somewhere, but aparently Triple H is supposed to play Thor, which would be cool, cause for some reason I like him nowadays more in the acting role, kinda get him out of wrestling and away from the title awhile(yeah listen to me taking movies towards wrestling) But yeah, anyone else about Triple H playing Thor? |

I read that he was the top choice for the role but wouldn't step away from wrestling which obviously is what they would want since there would be Thor plus the Avengers and any sequels that may be done so they were looking elsewhere but you could definatly see H in the role which seems destined to be his in a way but I doubt its gonna be him since he doesn't want to leave WWE for Hollywood. |

Yeah, would still be amazing to see though. Like he fits Thor perfectly, huge guy with long blonde hair, who carries a hammer, like honestly I can't think of someone who would fit better as Thor. If he hasn't turned it away completly I think he should go for it. |

i went away for the weekend and we just relaxed so we watched a lot of movies Scream- 8/10...very corny movie, however I love it. I could pretty much quote it cuz I've seen it so many times. It's a good plot i think. I never get sick of this movie Urban Legend- 7/10...coriness galore, but again it held my interest. The ending was really stupid, but I don't care, I needed it to hold my interest and it did I Know What You Did Last Summer- 7/10...lol i guess we were just watching corny horror movies? Well this one I used to hate, but I actually kind of liked it this time. Sarah Michelle Gellar is so hott that it makes the movie impossible to dislike |

Watched a few movies recently Across The Universe- 8/10 ...thought I would hate it, it was great though. Some of it I felt like I was on acid, but I liked it Garden State- 9.9/10 ...I won't give it 10/10 because I think it takes alot to get that (although American Beauty would) but I loved it so much. You definitely have to be weird to appreciate it, but believe me I fit that category lol. It was such a good indie flick. I definitely recommend it |

Twilight, I thought it was going to suck. It kinda does at the beginning but that movie was one of the greatest movies I've seen in a long time, it had action, drama, suspense, it was put together very nicely. I've seen it three times already and I still can't get enough. It's about vampries, come on who doesn't like vampries? |

I completely agree with the stephen guy about Twilight! I LOVED this film and have seen it twice now!! Its so good! I just love how Bella and Edward's relationship feels so real. They play it so arkward and I love that. I also love a more interesting take on vampires that this movie series gives. They sparkle gold! Its awesome! Loved it so much! I want to read the books! I look forward to the second movie! cus' there is four books in the series! Last night I saw The Children which is a british horror film where a family goes to visit some other family somewhere remote. Its set at christmas time and basically something starts going on with the kids and the kids start killing all the adults. Sounds lame but actually was pretty good. Makes me hate and fear children ut was good. Quite gruesome which I loved! |
