-Scott Hill- Well its been some time since I have done one of these so I felt it was time for another one. Normally an Owner's Blog is done in the face of an issue or a conflict or to explain a problem or annoyance. Well tonight's blog is not about any of the above. You see this one is just about the current way things are going in the fed. I must say I am very pleased with how the fed is going. Through our 5 plus years we have gone through up swings and down swings but yet he we always manage to keep things running. We have gone through great times where we expand to as many as four brands and periods where we end up firing plenty of people like "Black Friday". Well right now we are going through a period where we are open to hiring divas but thats about it. I mean our male roster is a perfect size, we could use some new divas just to expand it because we have room to and we would love to see the womens division equal to the men and hopefully it can happen but if not then thats fine too because I really do believe we have some of the best female rper's anywhere. I'll come back to the females a little later in this too. The fed though is seeing alot of rps on the backstage boards which is great, feuds are being improved by that, people are loving results and results are doing pretty good. Stevie could still use some help with the male matches as far as writers go but right now its being managed. Ryan is doing a terrific job on SKCW vs KSCWE and I really can't wait for the next edition of it. Matthews Mat is still rocking, Getting Personal as I type is getting a new set of questions made up for it so everyone can start a new with it. Miss SKCW so far has had a great turn out. And I must say the new Rumor Mill was oustanding.
Now getting back to why we want to increase our womens division and not the men. I don't mean to step on anyone's toes but myself and Stevie are very aware of the fact that most of our women can rp just as good as any of the men and while its true that some of the girls like Victoria, Raine, and Shay have moved into the men's division and done well its just not realistic for women to wrestle and beat men on a regular basis. Most feds treat there women's division kinda like a "filler" role and the girls are nothing more then managers or used as the male superstars sex toys. I think we have always treated the women well here despite the Naughty Divas Matches. I mean we have four women's titles right now and we would love to add Women's Tag Team Title's if we get the women's division up to around 20 or so divas on the roster. We allow the women to wrestle in Main Event Matches and even if you look at the PPV Cards, generally the Women's Title Match is listed as the Co-Main Event. We even went as far as seperating the male and female title pages in order to show that they are equal to each other so hopefully within the next month the womens division is almost just as large as the male division. We are scouting for fresh new diva talent and have had some discussions with people about coming in so only time will tell there.
The last thing though I want to talk about is SKCW.Com. Originally we kinda used SKCW.Com just to post releases and such but recently besides posting signings, releases, news on contests or whatever if you have noticed. We have started to post articles about certain things and new exclusive Articles like the new Love Connection, Stable History, and Family Histories. Hopefully everyone is enjoying these new features. I encourage everyone to keep up the great work, the great rps because all of this helps the motivation of myself and Stevie and keeps the results going great and keeps the fed running at the amazing way it is right now where it truly is Drama Free(knock on wood).
