okies, real quick for anyone who wants to know how to make a quick mask

new canvas 500x500

fill black #000000

(as its the black of the mask that is taken away when you use it, you must make sure its pure black, or else some colour will remain when you use your mask, and this colour will leave a slightly coloured edge to your tag and make your tag stand out on a white message board)

The white of your mask is the piece which will remain on your tag, using a grey instead of white has the same effect, but it makes the masked layer look lighter, meaning, not so much of the colour shows through, so if you want a misted look, then use a light grey rather than white. Remember, the darker the shade ow white/grey, the more of the colour will be removed from your original image once you use your mask on it.

ok, preset shape to circle, inner white or a light grey, outer null, draw out a smallish circle, centre it in canvas and convert to raster

Adjust, blur, guassian blur - 10

use any effects on this circle, like maybe dsb flux - linear transmission, or tramages tow the line.....play around, the possiblities are endless, use dings, preset shapes, brushes etc etc instead of just a circle.

this was just a quickie version of how to make an easy one, you can do whatever you please with your masks, make them unique to you
