Are you ready for company in 15? If you are, what do you do for 15 to prepare your home for company? If not, what can you do for 15 to make your home company ready? Is it: Shine your sink? Take out trash? Quick sweep or vac of the "middles"? Make your bed? Swish and swipe? 5 min room rescues of rooms that guests might see? Windex front door or light switches? Attack hotspots? A little challenge for all of you, take 15 right now and do 2 or 3 items from above. You will see an immediate improvement in your home, even if company doesn't show up. |

Found out an hr ago that we have an overnight guest coming at 5ish. Just did 7 min on Company Ready: - fresh linen on bed
- blessed guest room
- Mr.Erasered the tub - sparkly!

 Well I was ready for drop in company. And tomorrow night we were planning on having first time company, as in ppl that dh will take thru the WHOLE house, including showing how much closet space we have. And be especially proud to show them the built ins he did in the master closet. Just perfect. I was planning on doing whb today, tomorrow closets & extras. Well dh just phoned, he wants them to come tonight.  Off & running.................... |

Oh wow! Jody - considering that originally they were scheduled for tomorrow evening - I have a hunch I'd be asking what kind of flowers does he want while he's at the hospital! |

ROFL @ Helen. Dh is sooooooo proud of that closet, he invites the neighbors in to come see it. ALL the time. lol. Good habit for me. I did spend 10 min the closet yesterday & it was company ready. Just 3 shelves outta order. Jumping Changing plans around here though. About 4pm yesterday, dh said he didn't want to do the hockey game, so we were going to go out for dinner with another couple tonight. Then..................................... well just gonna copy & paste from another post: Dh's bday is today, we were planning on going to a nice nearby restaurant with another couple. But...................... mil phoned last night at 7 pm, said she was going to bring 3-5 ppl to our place TONIGHT!!! UGH! Wished I woulda talked to her. Anyhoo, now I am decorating the house, making a big batch of chili, veggie platter, nachos & layered dip, grocery shopping, liquor store run, phone other couple re:plans change, and spend a couple of hrs volunteering at the soup kitch. I won't be here when mil & entourage arrive, but oh well. Main level is fully company ready now. Amen to yesterday's WHB. |
