My goodness y'all have been so quiet!!  Its the holiday season time to get your house in shape and get ready for the holidays!!!!!  So WAKE UP and tell us what you are up to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (any "louder" and I'd be shouting).

Have you started shopping?
House cleaned?
Tree or other holiday decorations up?
Christmas cards bought?
Cards addressed and ready to mail?
Any charity items ready to go?

I have tons to do. I have started shopping and some charity items ready to go to the food bank, but thats it.  I've been working on school deadlines and fighting a horrible cold/cough thing.  So this week I'm concentrating on getting an outline done for the class I thought I wasn't going to have time to complete.woohoo..got the other 2 done sooner than I thought even with the craziness of all the family issues.  Besides the outline, cleaning the house and getting the tree up and maybe getting some Christmas cards ready. (or maybe next weekend).

Just got in from work a few minutes ago...

Living room is decorated almost all the way, tree is up and decorated, started decorating foyer and dining room as well.

Shopping is 90% done...this week need to review everything as we have plans to go out Friday night and finish the details.  Have not started wrapping.

We sponsor one child every year through a program where we purchase the child's Christmas gifts.  They are all bought, we got a 3yo boy this year.  I need to wrap them this week...they have to be dropped off to the organizers next Monday.

I usually make 300+ Christmas cards by hand, but I am going to purchase them this year.  Will get to that this week as well.  I have seen some really cool ones come in at work and am hoping to get a chance to shop one morning this week while ds is at preschool.

House is not totally cleaned, but it is an ongoing process!

Well, on the Christmas shopping end.... I only have to buy 3 gifts. 2 general adult gifts and 1 general kid gift.  I have one of the adult gifts already. $20 limit on each.

The only other expendature for Christmas is a stocking exchange that we do on my state chat group. So far, I've made one of the gifts, a crocheted scarf. I have to gather a few more little gifts and it will be done. $15 limit, so it's not too bad, the worst part will be the postage.

The small $ amounts come in handy since I still haven't received any unemployment or had any luck finding a job. Prayers are still appreciated.

Not sure if we are going to put up a tree. We have a small dog, that eats everything and I still fear that he will get hurt.
