| What is a Zone treat you ask? Well I started doing this awhile ago. After each zone is complete,I buy a treat for 5 to 10 dollars.I buy something for the zone that I can use and that I love! Exaples of things I have bought... Zone 1 - The landing Hot spot basket New shoe polish for shoes You can make it what ever you like! I buy cosmetics sometimes when I do the bathroom zone. I bought containers for organizing things in the zones. Like for the office a new desk set.I couldn't buy all the set at once so I picked up one peice each time I was in the zone( new garbage can,new paper clip holder,new stapler,ect.I picked a favorate color that I like to decorate the room with and eventually everything matched.Its makes it so fun and nice to come into the space. I have bought tea towels for the kitchen zone this way,each time I was in that zone I would pick up a tea towel at the grocery store when I did grocery shopping.I picked my favorite one and kept adding to the supply until I had 7. These are small goals and replacements that don't take a chunk out of you budget,and the long term planning will make your home look nice and feel good to work in! Have fun treating yourself after each zone! |
