At my work, they charge $1.25 for a 20 oz. bottled drink. I watch the sale ads, and buy 2 lts. on sale for $1.00. They make fun of me caring in a 2 lt., but I'm the one laughing at how much they are spending.
I used to share a locker with someone who did this, she always had a 2 litre bottle of pepsi max in there.
Once a year I wash & lightly scrub my dryer's lint filter in dishwashing soap, to get rid of the invisible film. First time I did this it cut down my jean's drying time by 20 min.
.
Do the air intake as well, recently my dryer wasn't drying the clothes well enough, when I checked the back of the dryer the intake grill was clogged with lint. I've been thinking of connocting some sort of secondary filter that will somehow clip to the front of the dryer to stop lint flying everywhere. My dryer can't be vented because the entire door is the air outlet so any lint that gets through the filter is blown around the room.
About 15 yrs ago, a friend gave me that advice. She said that if tap water sits out for a night it loses its calcium. (It loses something & I think she said calcium) Better for the plants and their pots. I had a lot of clay pots, that had white rings around the bottom. After trying this, no more white rings/spots
. Leaving water sit would also get rid of chlorine which would also be beneficial to plants
