These are neat!  Though - I may keep something like this in my dining room (entrance - is an entrance to the apartment house!)

 

Thinking on something though for front porch and balcony though!

 

Balcony could be plant stuff (same for front porch!)

 

And maybe keeping kit ready for charcoal grilling together for when doing the outdoor grilling thing!

 

Maybe a lawnmower kit for easy maintenance and cleanups there! - same for weedwhacker or whatever!)

 

And maybe on the apartment door - something like a pen and paper for notes for visitors for when you're away - with directions to push info UNDER THE DOOR any messages left!

 

 

The kits are a great idea, especially the slipper kit.  We often have visitors who take their shoes off to prevent tracking mud and grass in the house, our floors are tiled and can be cold on the feet.  I think I will make some unisex slippers up. 

We keep a couple of kits by the backdoor, one has suncreens and personal insect repellents, the other has batteries, torches plus mobile phone rechargers.  Both are handy for us as we are heading out the door whether in sunlight or moonlight.
