I love your ideas!!!!

I also like to keep linens for that room in there (on the closet shelf IF POSSIBLE) - and usually have a total of 2 - 3 sheet changes there. I fold everything inside the outside top sheet (pillowcases inside - though many store the beds linens inside the pillow case - I've ripped apart too many seams doing that!) - and then stack them - using the bottom one first!
My closet is also where I keep my shoes - and keep my shoe shine kit handy near there (but OUT of kids reach - unless I like "decorated" walls!)
MY room is also usually the sewing room - but will mention that on Zone 3 (if I remember) - so have sewing organization and kits there too.
Since I have a habit of reading in order to fall asleep - I have a small "carry-around" I got at dollar general - so that I can tuck my water bottle, whatever books I am reading, extra book marks, etc. in there - and grab and carry to the kitchen or wherever!
