Candle Colors
White: purity, sincerity, protection.
Black: protection, repelling, binding, absorption.
Silver: divination, astral protection, Goddess.
Green: finance, prosperity, fertility, luck, growth, physical healing.
Blue: calmness, health, tranquility, wisdom, creativity, patience.
Red: passion, strength, health, vigor, courage, energy.
Pink: friendship, honor, love, morality, peace, nurturing.
Purple: spiritual power, psychic ability, ambition, third eye, serious physical healing, power.
Orange: success, attraction, justice, ambition.
Yellow/Gold: attraction, persuasion, divination, intelligence.
Candle Magick
You can use any type of candles for candle magick, beeswax candles are the best though, as they are completely natural. (Better still, try making your own candles, that way you can create and charge a candle with your own energy for a desired spell). To prepare for the spell, set up your altar, and take a relaxing bath, clear your mind and focus on the spell you are about to perform. Cleanse and consecrate the candle you will use, this is very important, you want to get rid of any energies it may have picked up. This is usually done by submerging the candle in salt and asking the God/Goddess to bless it. The next step is to dress your candle, this is done by rubbing the oil specified in the spell on the candle. You should be very careful how you rub the oil, remember that to bring something to you, you should rub the oil from the top of the candle to the middle, and from the bottom to the middle. If you want to drive something away from you, rub from the middle to the top and the middle to the bottom. Never rub the oil in both directions, doing that defeats the purpose.
Using Candle Magick
When one feels under psychic assault or if concerned that they are the recipient of adverse magick, one solution is to use reverse magick. One effective method of implementing this is utilizing candle magick. A reverse candle is one that reverses whatever the individual who is attempting to harm may be doing. If there is a specific individual in mind (an ex-spouse, an ex-lover, an ex-employer, etc.) then write his/her name on the candle (red on top half, black on bottom half) using permanent markers or some other indelible method. Each night for three nights, burn about a third of the candle. While the candle is burning, visualize positive outcomes (such as a move to a new location for the other party, a move to a new location for you, successful mediation of a problem, etc.) and how the situation can get reversed for the good of you and any other individuals who may be involved (children, elderly parents, etc.) including the individual who's name is inscribed on the candle. When the candle is burned down to a stub dispose of it immediately by taking it to a body of fresh water. Once the candle is in the water, turn and walk away. If it is winter or if you can't get to fresh water then bury it in the earth (Not near your home) or dispose of it in a dumpster or some other waste area as far away from your home as possible. When you return to your home after the disposal, return by a different route from the one you took to get there. It is critical to think positively during the process. Negativity will bog the process down. Upon your return home create a positive spell outlining what you want the situation to be -- use a white candle or one that represents the positive to you. Understand that the goddess works best when you leave the form of the solution up to her. It is up to us to determine the essence of the solution. The Lady will provide the result.
Candle Divination
This is divination from the flames of three wax candles. Arrange the three candles in an equilateral triangle and light a fourth candle some distance away to provide enough light for the reading. Switch off all the other lights in the room, and light the three candles from one match. Read the omens from the appearance of their flames. A flame wavering from side to side : Travel. One flame brighter than all the others : Great success. A glow or radiance at the tip of the wick : Prosperity. Sparks : Be cautious Rising and falling flames, or candles burning unevenly : Danger. Flame spluttering : Disappointment. Flame unexpectedly extinguished : Great misfortune.
Lithomancy
Lithomancy This is divination using precious stones, one form of which involves candlelight. Scatter gemstones of different colors around a candle. Darken the room, light the candle, close your eyes and clear your mind of thoughts. when you open your eyes, notice which color of stone first reflects light back on you. (In the absence of a good selection of gems, colored glass can be used as an alternative. Colorless : Success and happiness. Red : Romance. Dark Red : A wedding. Yellow : Infidelity. Violet : Grief. Purple : A quarrel. Black : Ill luck. To know if your lover is true Take two halves of a walnut shell, two small candles or wax matches and a bowl of water. Stand a candle upright in each half of the walnut shells, fixing it into place with a little melted wax. Set the walnut shell boats in the middle of the bowl of water, naming one candle for yourself, and the other for your lover. Light the candles. If the two boats float side by side with the candles burning evenly, you will be true to each other. If the boats drift apart, overturn or the flame goes out, the relationship is doomed. If your candle burns for longer than that named for your lover, then you love more than you are loved, and vice versa. To know your luck for the next year Arrange 12 lighted candles in a large circle on a wood or concrete floor, having first removed any furnishings that might catch fire. Name a candle in turn for each month of the year. Beginning at the January candle, jump over each in turn until you have completed the circle. All Purpose Candle Spell
1 candle (appropriate color)

Hold the candle between the palms of your hands. Breath deeply, and visualize your goal. Feel all the power and energy seep into the candle. Speak of the goal that you wish to accomplish. Place the candle into the holder and light the match. Holding it above the candle, bring the flame down towards the wick, visualizing and repeating your goal as you light the candle. Sit in front of the candle and meditate for a few seconds with it. Then leave it to burn 3/4 of the way finished or completely finished depending on how great the goal is.

Sit down quietly with everything in front of you. Think about what it is that you want. Try to think about everything surrounding it, all the situations, problems, and possible solutions. Let all your worry and frustrations come at you full force. Then start to draw or write down what you want. It can be a picture, a symbol, written words, or anything else that has meaning for you. As you draw or write, visualize your problem solving itself. See in your mind yourself getting what it is that you need. Put all the desire you have into that piece of paper, and still focus on achieving it. When you are ready, light the candle and burn the paper in it. It doesn't have to burn completely, and be careful with the fire. Visualize the burning paper carrying your goal away to become reality for you. If possible, let the candle burn out.
Candle Spell #1
2 red human shaped candles 1 female & 1 male

Light the black & white candles on your altar, the black on the left and the white on the right. Bore a small hole into the heart area of each human candle. Put a small pinch of the mandrake root into the hole. Scratch your name on one candle & your lovers on the other. Face them together on the plate. Write your initials on one piece of the Adam & Eve root and your lovers on the other. Place the 2 pieces between the 2 candles add the rose quartz & rose petals on the plate between the candles. Tie the 2 candles with the red string clockwise. Light both candles and let them burn down until the dish is a pool of wax. Let it cool. Remove the wax, now embedded with the other ingredients. Bury it on the night of
a full moon for an ongoing relationship or on the night of the new moon for a new relationship.
Candle Spell #2
You will need one bayberry candle. Sit the candle in the middle of a table or anywhere it is comfortable for you. Understand that in this spell you are talking to the candle and telling it what you wish for it to do or what your request is. Bayberry candle burn down to the socket .Within a day or so the finances and peace in the home should be evident.
Enlightenment Spell
1 Green candle .A problem to focus on (any one in which you need to make a decision) Cast the circle. Light the green candle. Focusing on the flame and channeling your confusion to the candle, close your eyes and repeat the following chant, still picturing the flame in your mind. "Goddess of the moon, God of fire, grant me my heart's desire it is that I soon know who is friend and who is foe this information I ask you for, the good may I see by morn. "Thank the God and Goddess, close the circle. Leave the candle burning and keep the soft flame in your mind. Once you feel calmed, snuff out the candle.
Get a Job Spell
This spell should be used only after you have submitted your resume or application. With a pin or sharp knife, write the name of the company(s) you want to work for on the side of a large green candle. On a red candle, you need to carve the victory rune (Tiwaz, it looks like an arrow, pointing up) and your full name. Burn both candles for 30 minutes on Thursday after the sun sets, while visualizing yourself getting the kind of job you want. At the end of the 30 minutes, snuff the candles (do not blow them out). Burn them each Thursday after that for 15 minutes until they burn out, or until you get the job. Dispose of the candles and leave a small bowl of milk outside overnight as an offering.
Make Someone Forget a Secret Spell
a black candle; a sheet pf paper with the words: My Secret written in pencil on side, and your actual secret on the other; and eraser. Light the black candle, say the following words while erasing the letter M: As I erase one letter away You'll forget my secret (the person's name) today, and when the last letter is erased and burned My secret to you--shall never return! Snuff out the candle. Every night erase the next letter. When the letter T is erased, use the flame of the candle to burn the paper, and say: So mote it be!
