Welcome to my Samhain Box!!!  It is the time to rest as the wheel of seasons makes its final turn.  At this time of year, we prepare for the journey thru the darkness of winter. It is the time to reflect and remember those who have past before us. It is important to remember them, and speak their names. This is the time for the feast of the dead. Some set an extra place at the table, or leave cakes and wine near the fireside.  The Goddess is in her full crone aspect. She represents winter and death, which is needed for a new start. The death/renewal aspect of this time of year is signified by animals going into their winter sleep. It is the time for personal study and taking inventory of ones self, to prepare for the new cycle that will begin at Yule.  Blessings of Samhain to you & yours.  | |
