The Crone Goddess Of Samhain
Nicnevin, a Pagan goddess who hails from the old religion of pre-Christian Scotland, is known as the Crone Goddess of Samhain. She is said to be a deity of great wisdom and magickal aptitude, and many modern Witches (especially those of Scottish heritage and/or those who follow a Scottish tradition of Wicca) invoke her presence during Halloween rituals for empowerment and protection against all forms of negativity.
