Hi Sandy, I can't get started with a picture I can't get it on the first layer. I did the inner bevel OK with your instructions but again could not get rid of the marching ants. Guess I'm thick. See on Sunday XXXXX |

Hi Lynn...First of all the text looks great...so I would say you got the hang of that ok... When you open up a pic...that becomes the first layer and is shown as background...to add more graphics...go to layers...add new raster layer...make sure that layer is highlighted on your layer pallette and then copy graphic and paste into the main canvas page...as new selection....to get shut of the marching ants...go into selections and click on...select none. When you have added everything you want on you main canvas page...go into layers again...and then merge...and then merge visible...this will then compress the whole layered page into a single background with all the info on it...hope this makes sense...tell me if it doesn't...the pic you showed me....did you add the flower etc..it looks good....Sandy xxx |

Yes Sandy I managed to put the flower in, Once you merge and merge visible is that the end of making a picture. Please tell me where or when and how you add the text to the picture, Love Lynn.xxx |

Hi Lynn...once you merge visible you are merging the active layers....you can put the text in at anytime...either after you have merged all the picture layers...or before you merge the whole lot...it doesn't really matter...to add text...add new raster layer click on your 'A' to do straight across text...or make your circles to do curved text...when the marching ants are around it you can move it around and position it...then delete the vector layer...which is the circle....once you have everything in place then merge all layers and that is the end of that work...hope this helps...Sandy xxx |
