Written For My Father

"Dear Daddy"

It's been almost 4yrs since your passing Daddy and how i miss you so very much. Life has been hard without you in it and at times i want you here with me to hold me,comfort me and tell me everything will be ok.As i sit here writing this and listening to your song called Daddy's Hands, i cry cause of the emptyness and hole i have in my heart cause of the loss of you Daddy.

I pray to you every night hoping you hear each and everyone on my thought and tears. I am trying very hard Dad to take care of the family and of Mom, she is lost with out her husband and i am doing what i can for her daddy, i am keeping that promise to you that i made the night we spent in your room alone just talking and crying.I promised that no matter what goes on in my life i would take care of mom and her health daddy and that is a promise i shall always keep for you.

Your grandchildren are so precious dad, Tyler is going into a wonderful man Dad you would be so proud of him today and all his has done with his life so far. Travis and Michael are doin very good and growing like a weed Dad. You also have a new granddaughter as well Dad her name is Katlin,Marie,Imelda Wiemer. We the family will always keep your memory alive in your granchildren Dad. They love and miss their grandfather so much and their hearts are hurting too.. I tell them such wonderful stories of their couragous loving grandfather..

Not a day goes by where i do not wish i could erase the past and have you back here with your family Daddy. We lost you way too soon in life.. I know God called for his Angel to come home and i only hope you are at piece now Dad and not in any pain anymore..

I know when i go to bed at night and i close my eyes you are their with me watching over me, stroking my hair as you did when i was a little girl telling me you love your princess and that everything will be ok,cause i have one of God's Angel taking care of me now and forever.When i am feeling done and lonely Daddy i go to my room where i have a picture of you on my night stand and i light your Blue candle i just sit there and think of all the wonderful things you have done for me in life, all the times you protected from harm and were always their to wipe the tears from my eyes, the way your loving daddy's hands wrapped around me holding me tight to comfort me from the pain i had. You may be in heaven Daddy but your spirit still lives on through your children and grandchildren and that is what keeps me going Daddy,also knowing that when my time comes i will be reunited with you again, and your loving hands will once again be wrapped around me protecting me as they were when i was a child
