The Infiniti Hybrid expected to debut in 2010 will be capable of 120km/h on battery power alone. Not sure about the range.

 The 2010 Prius will have a lithium ion pack for improved electric only range.

 The Fisker Automotive Karma is an interesting design. A plug in hybrid sedan with a solar panel roof. MSRP will be $80k. The first 100 will be delivered to pre order customers in late 2009. Afterwards Fisker plans to start up dealerships in the US and sell 15k cars per year.
