It seems to me, and I've heard this vocalized that the Christian religion is down on other religions. To them...all other religions are a cult. The Mormons are a cult. The Catholics are a cult etc. Now when you look up the word "cult" in a dictionary...the basic meaning is "any group of people dedicated to any religion", and variations thereof. So....the Christians are a cult within themselves although they won't admit it. |
