The BibleBy Gods People.
It has an answer for everything.
If your not a believer, its ok.
The greatest men in the world
have fashioned their life around
what the bible says.Could that
be a fluke? I don't thinkso. Give it a try.
You my be suprised what you learn
about life. There's more in there
than just about being a Christian.
Got a question? Let the Bible answer
it for you.How big of a boat should
you buy? Should you change your oil
in the car before a long trip? Is your wife
faithful? Yep. All the answers are
right there.

Confedup, Patrick Henry was a Christian and VERY close to God. Could this be one of the reasons, that he is under attack today? He was also a freedom loving man. I am a Christian. With the Christian religion under attack, the CSA and other countries, like England, could serve has homelands for Christians. What do you think? Teresa

I think the CSA might be just a place for Christianity to make a real strong comeback. Most true Southrons have a strong Christian background, so building
Christianity back to where it should be should be an easy task.

Iam not to sure about England,or indeed the whole of U.K. being a good place for Christians. It is a very secular place now and also has a large Asian and immigrant population. With being a lot smaller than the States,it would be a lot harder finding your own space. Maybe Christianity to-day can survive alongside a secular culture, things not so along ago were very different. In Ulster in my young days, swearing was very seldom heard. Most young folk were in the B.B.or G.B.
[Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade] both which had a Christian ethos. Sunday consisted mostly of ..B.B. Bible Class, in the morning, then straight into Church for morning worship, home for lunch then Sunday School in the afternoon.  Church again in the evening and afterwards an open-air service.  I can remember a B.B. officer admonishing me for whistling on a Sunday, saying if I really found the need to whistle then it should be a hymn. This may sound a wee bit over the top,but in Ulster on a Sunday it was very strict[this may be the Scots Presbyterian influence] everything closed, swings in the park were even locked, swimming pools cinemas bars etc...all closed, some folk would do all the preparing of the meals on a Saturday and then they had only to cook them on a Sunday. On a Sunday and through the week there would also Gospel Tent campaigns going on which were very well attended.  Vernon Oxford a Christian Gospel singer from Dixie said it reminded him of home. Ulster in those days had the lowest divorce rate in the western world. I can only remember one murder taking place, and muggers had'nt been heard of and respect was the 'buzz'
word. The only place that I know of that is still a wee bit like that,is the Western Isles
of Scotland.  Ulster to-day is like most places now...drugs murder rape mugging disrespect.  Just thought I'd paint a wee pen-picture for you of by-gone days in Ulster

Rab,
"Oh forgot to ask.  What was it like in Dixie growing up?"  It depends on where you are living. Some areas have beaches, mountains, rivers, streams, etc. The South IS the Bible Belt of the USA. It is VERY Conservative. We went to Church. I grew up in Tennesssee. We have mountains, rivers, streams, forests, a mixture of farming and business. Chattanooga gets a LOT of tourists. It is on I-75 that goes to Florida. The South has problems, like the rest of the USA. Things like: drugs, crime, etc.    "Iam not to sure about England,or indeed the whole of U.K. being a good place for Christians. It is a very secular place now and also has a large Asian and immigrant population."  In one of the English Nationalist websites, that I have visited (I cannot remember the name of the website), they were talking about making England a homeland for Christians. You might want to read my subject "The English patriotism upsurge." The last reply was 7/10/2004 at 3:09 PM. This is my post  # 46.

"This is my post  # 29. I found a website for English/British Nationalism. "English Gateway" is at http://www.geocities.com/englishgateway/  .They are dealing with the same problems that we are. I got this picture from the website. Posted by Greystarfish1 on 6/22/2004, 13KB  Posted by Greystarfish1 on 6/22/2004, 2KB Posted by Greystarfish1 on 4/28/2004, 6KB  Posted by Greystarfish1 on 4/28/2004, 6KB Teresa I found an article from their Nationalism section. "Does England Need a Moral Revival?" It is at http://www.geocities.com/englishgateway/moral.html  .They are facing the same problems that we are. Here is the article."

Does England Need a Moral Revival<O:P> </O:P>

 <O:P> </O:P>

The farther of the murdered schoolboy claimed that England is in need of a Moral revival. Is he right ?

In the New Millennium, nothing in England has got better despite the continued promises on how the liberal agenda of inclusiveness and tolerance will make things better, things daily slip from bad to worse. Crime is soaring fuelled by a drug problem and lack of willingness to tackle it, which is fast approaching American inner city levels. International drug cartels run by alien gangsters, many happily living in this country are flooding England with the poison of heroin, cocaine and other lethal drugs. Prostitution, child abuse and hard core pornography debase the nation while the liberal elite are now actively promoting homosexuality, lesbianism in our schools and wreck family values. Every three minutes another child is killed in one of our hundreds of abortion clinics they continue to push back the boundaries and now make the abortion pill available to under 16’s as we watch underage sex sore, children are encouraged in to sex by their policies. The list goes on and on. Depressing, dismal and spelling doom for the English and our nation. <O:P></O:P>

A moral revolution is desperately needed to push back the tied of liberalism, political correctness and to return us back to the standards our country’s laws and constitution were founded upon.<O:P> </O:P>

It is at http://www.outdoorsunlimited.net/~jpic/polinc.htm  .This is from the site. I have it in favorites.

"If you are tired that any valid and truthful criticism or challenge of PC is referred to as "hate speech" and you are shouted down and personally attacked as a fascist, NAZI, racist, sexist, or "homophobe" then this ring is for you.

If you are tired of government, public, or private institutions imposing censorship or restrictive "conduct codes" on free speech and expression in the spirit of PC then this ring is for you.

But if you are interested in spreading hate, violence, or denying any person of their natural, civil, or constitutional rights for any reason, then this ring is NOT for you.

Hate and violence is what the fearful, the uninformed, the ignorant, or the uneducated use against those persons and forces they do not understand. They select or have selected for them leaders to think and act for them, who will give them bread and circuses to keep them pacified, at the expense of those free minded individuals who refuse to be followers of these socialist/fascist elitists."The Time Has Come To Take A Stand  Christianty is GROWING in Africa and Asia.  Teresa
