I found this book yesterday at my favorite used bookstore.

 

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: His Speeches and Writings

 by Roy P. Basler     Written in 1948

 

It is loaded with speeches he made and letters he wrote. Many contradictions can be found in his letters.  I think the illegal ways of his cabinet can really be seen in his writings.
