I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the movement of the Ulster-Scots to America and their journey into the Southern States.  It has plenty of photographs and is very informative about these folk who help build America.  I would describe it as the 'Bible' of the Ulster-Scots story.   Another one is Ulster sails West by the Rev W.F. Marshall.     Rab.

P.S. Just finished reading 'The Killer Angels' ---- great stuff.  Now its on to 'Gods and Generals' and then 'The Last Full Measure'.
