Alaska Gov, Sarah Palin and family in 2007

A week after a high-profile send-up of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live," the NBC comedy show returned to making fun of the Alaskan governor in a skit where New York Times reporters sought to probe the possibility Palin's husband, Todd, was having sex with the couple's own daughters.

"What about the husband?" asked a Times reporter during a mock assignment meeting for the paper. "You know he's doing those daughters. I mean, come on. It's Alaska."

The assignment editor for the Times, portrayed by actor James Franco, responded: "He very well could be. Admittedly, there is no evidence of that, but on the other hand, there is no convincing evidence to the contrary. And these are just some of the lingering questions about Governor Palin."

Do you watch Saturday Night Live?

Do you think this type of humor is acceptable?

Do you think it might sway any voters away form McCain?

I didn't know SNL said that.  That is horrible.  Once of the gossip magazines said there is a video of the daughter doing drugs.

Do you watch Saturday Night Live? No but I did watch the opening the week before.

Do you think this type of humor is acceptable? NO not at all.  That isn't humor.

Do you think it might sway any voters away form McCain? I hope people have enough brains in their head not to be swayed but I don't know

Do you watch Saturday Night Live? Sometimes..I didn't watch Saturday night .

Do you think this type of humor is acceptable?

Not at all!

Do you think it might sway any voters away form McCain?

I think it hurt  John Kerry when he ran...maybe President Bush but he won anyway. I know it hurt Al Gore with the lockbox! But I really think that maybe only really young folks would let it sway them..

I haven't watched SNL since the days of Akroyd, Belushi, Radner, and Curtin.
This isn't humor. It is nothing more than another cheap shot at Republican
candidates, and in extremely poor taste. (Look for worse. Democrats will sink
to new lows, even for them, in the last weeks of the campaign.) I doubt if anyone
who is leaning toward McCain watched the show.
