Project - Retiring CCWF
On October 21, 2008, CCWF was retired from service.
Any e-mail sent to an address that ends in @ccwf.cc.utexas.edu will not be delivered. All Web pages beginning with the URL http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu are being redirected here. These CCWF pages are no longer available. For updated e-mail addresses and contact information, please consult the UT online directory.

CCWF was one of the original computing services provided to the university community for e-mail, Web publishing, and data storage. Information Technology Services (ITS) has retired CCWF because the services it provided are available through more current ITS services.
Service Options
ITS recommends that you choose from our other services that provides support for your most-used features.
The UTS service most closely matches your current CCWF account. Use the ITS Computer Account Services page to sign up for an Individually Funded (IF) UTS account, or ask your departmental account sponsor to obtain a departmental account for you using the Technical Resource Account Control (TRAC) system.
Choosing an alternative service depends on what features you need:
Data Storage
- WebSpace can be used to store and share up to 1 GB of data at no cost.
- Data storage on disk.austin.utexas.edu is a good choice for storing large amounts of data, and costs $5/GB/year.

- UMBS E-mail on mail.utexas.edu provides no-cost e-mail service with a Web interface, or you can use the mail client of your choice.
- AEMS E-mail and Calendar include an integrated calendaring service, Web access, and can be used with a BlackBerry. Costs $13/year.

Web Publishing
- WebSpace can be used to create personal, static Web sites with up to 1 GB of data at no cost.
- Web Publishing on Windows can be used to create dynamic Web sites that require Microsoft technologies. Basic cost is $5/year for 1 GB of space.
- Web Publishing on Web Central is for colleges, departments, and organizations to publish their Web sites at no cost.
