BRUSH LINKS http://www.essexgirl.uk.com/ Misc. Tutorials, including tag tutorials available here. Great Masks Brushes Tubes Gradients SuperbladePro Presets Sinedot Presets Websets Tiles (for websets, patterns, textures) I'd advise you to make yourself a cup of coffee or tea to bring with you when you visit this site. You might find yourself there for hours. It's one of my favourites. She's a sinedots whiz! So be prepared to see a lot of things made with Sinedots which is a filter you can download. It's still a very confusing filter to me so I have to give a lot of credit to anyone who can figure it out and use it with such expertise. I like the way she has the PSP version written to the right of each tutorial. That's a big help when you're a PSP Beginner. It's wise to stick to tutorials using the same version of PSP that you have. There's so much to learn when you first start that you'll get information overload, you'll forget things you just learned a few hours ago and you'll get frustrated by plenty of the tutorials. No need to confuse yourself even more by doing tuts in a PSP Version that's different from yours. |

PSP7 - FREE - Full Version My heartfelt thanks to Docretreat for offering a free version PSP7 for download. It's great for people who aren't sure whether or not they like PSP and would like to try it out without purchasing anything and who would like to take more than 30 days to get to know it. The other versions of PSP offer a 30 day trial. Some may have a 60 day trial, not sure, I'd have to check, but later, lol. |

PSP MASK Links: http://www.essexgirl.uk.com/ Essexgirl has a TON of beautiful Masks. Not to mention a lot of other things also. This is one of my favourite sites. http://www.bunnysattic.com/ Although Bunny's Attic doesn't have a ton of masks, the ones she does have are exquisite! They're a nust in every collection. PSP - Your Version of PSP has quite a few masks already set up in it. Don't forget to check those out. There are lot of good ones. To see what's there, you can open a new image...any image will do, even a new image with a flood fill of one color. Then go to Layers>Load/Save Mask>Load from disk and you'll get a popup. In the little window in the top left hand corner of this popup is the default mask showing or the last mask you used. Click on the tiny weensy black arrow on the frame of that window and you'll be able to scroll through all the masks your version of PSP has already on file. To test one out, highlight the new image you just opened or created with flood fill. Click on a mask, then click on "Load" to load the mask. All the areas of it that are white will allow your flood fill or picture to show through, all the areas that are black will hide whatever is behind it/or under it. If the mask has any gray in it, depending on how light or dark it is, some of your picture will show through the gray also, almost like the opacity layer was lowered. If you liked the results and wanted to save the mask that is now conjoined with your picture, click on the "Group" layer in your layer pallette. It contains both the mask and your picture. Go to Layers>Merge Group. Try a few of them out. I think there are a lot of great masks there. Here is another site that has 5 pages of masks to choose from. |

Hi, If you've never made a blend before, the following site has a tutorial to teach you how to make one. Click on Tutorials at the top of the page. You'll have to go through the Terms of Use & click to accept them before you get to see the list of tutorials. ***Among the Tutorials, click on (New) Blend Basics. The first tut on that page will teach you how to make a blend. The tutorial immediately after this one goes on to show you how you can add texture to your blend (Textures 101 tut). And the 3rd Tut in this Group is on Effects/Filters and the use of them in a blend. There are 2 more tuts on this page under Effects but I never quite got what she was trying to do to them. You can check them out or not bother with them. It's up to you. AND....NOW....to learn 11 great other effects you can apply to a blend, go back to the main page. Click on Tutorials again and scroll down to the end of the Terms of Use. Click on the final message to agree to the TOU. Then under the list of tutorials that appears, click on "Blending Effect Tutorials". These are absolutely Great! Here's the site: To continue learning blends and putting your new techniques into practice you can hop over to this site, which has, at the time of this writing, 27 Blend Tutorials! http://psp-pals.com/tutorials/index.html Happy Blending! I hope you learn a lot and enjoy yourself at the same time. You can start making family photo blends next and impress everyone at home! ~ Robyn, Asst. Mgr. ~ :-) |

TUTORIAL LINKS: HOW TO Tutorial Links...Primarily, with some exceptions. Hypergurl has TONS of tutorials. Although most are strictly "How To" you always come away with some little thing you've made i.e. your own mask, a balloon, a party hat. (Sounds like she like to party or socialize a lot, lol). But, seriously, her tutorials are excellent for learning all the tools in PSP and "Best of All" - They're all very short. The same goes for moon designs although there's less of an organized structure to her tuts/lessons for PSP. The best thing to do at her site is to wander around the pages looking for something that interests you to try. She has a few regular tutorials, but most are about the different PSP Versions and what the tools, etc. can do for you. She used to have a great tutorial on making a Watermark. I'm not sure if she still does, but check out her fancy watermark. You can always design something similar for yourself if you like that one. :-) TUTORIAL Links: http://www.bunnysattic.com/ . Beautiful Tag Tutorials! . Masks, . Textures . Brushes Bunny's attic has a lot of gorgeous tag tutorials. You'll probably want to bookmark this site. She aslso has masks, textures and brushes available for download. Please read her Terms of Use if you are going to download any of the masks, textures and brushes. In fact it's a good habit to get into no matter what site you are at. Some people don't require a link back, most would like a link back to their site and some demand not only a link back, but to see their banner on the page you used one of their graphics. If you own your own Website this might be more practical but in the PSP MSN Group business it's not quite as practical. We're such heavy graphic oriented groups. So before you download a ton of things, make sure you can abide by the TOU. |
