Good evening friends i am back home with geoff  he is asleep at the moment been knocked out with painkillers, hes in a lot of pain, we got home yesterday morning not even 24 hours after surgery, he ended up in the Emergency dept at our local hospital by 6pm last night, his hand kept getting bigger and bigger, his head and whole arm were pumping, the Dr and nurses released the plaster they had on his arm and re dressed it for him. they also took his blood pressure it was sky high for him and his temp was also up, they gave him antibiotics and took bloods from him too, we had to see our GP today so went in this afternoon, as we cam out we saw the Surgeo who operated on him so told him what happened and he was quite happy that we went to our local hospital and told us to come over to his office next wednesday,
so I am off to bed now to get some sleep before he wakes, i am now his 24 hour attendant carer and wow its a full time job with his being so dopey he is also very nauseous and cant eat either so he will lose weight as well
nite to you all i will get in as i can
hugss Toosh

Hi Toosh.....  how frightening that must have been!   I can't imagine it.

Did they say what caused it???    I remember you saying he was going to
have that surgery to fuse his wrist...  time has been flying by so fast.  All
of sudden it was time.   It's always so difficult when added complications
come to something that is in itself already difficult.   How are you?

I'm sorry I missed your IM the other day... I was in the kitchen cooking
eggs when I heard it....came in here real quick and switched my status and tried to get back to you a few minutes later but you had gone back off too.

Your hubby could not have a better nurse.... you are such a wonderful,
caring, loving person,  he is in great hands.   We will be praying for your
strength during this 24/7 job.

Thank you so much for taking time to let us know the status of things.   We love you and will be eagerly waiting for when you have time to stop in again.  Hugs,  Grace
