Hi Everyone....

What should I do with the gifs/sigs that are in
msn group albums?

Everywhere I've visited and read,  people are talking
about being able to access their photos etc from
their photobucket accounts... and put them in the new
group places.

Are photobucket albums "private"....??... or are all of
them able to be viewed by anyone and everyone?

I don't know anything about photobucket features.

Should all out pics out of our albums be put into
one place over in photo bucket...???

With msn I create many many albums, with different
titles... to better categorize the photos.

Can we do that just for our group over there at PB..?,
or do they all have to go into one place?

I don't know if there are places on Aimoo, Yuku, and
Multiply to store photos etc....   I have not yet taken time
to read about what can and cannot be done at those places.

Ya'll let me know what you think is the best place to store
our collection of gifs/sigs that we want to use on our group.

Thanks!   Grace

Hi Grace, i dont use photobucket, but jeni does, she could answer your questions. I can put my hands on instructions for that from another group if you want it. I know if you transfer to multiply, everything in the group goes with it. So the pics would be there too. Sylvia

Hi Jeni.... it asks me for your password.

So it must still be locked and private.

My poor brain is getting mad at me...

... first I ask it to learn all kinds of new things
at work...
.... then I ask it to learn all kinds of new info about
groups....

....  it is about to go on strike I think....lol.

I've been feeling so tired and stressed from all
this 'growth' and 'stretching'....

... they say it's good for you... but it is wearing me out...LOL

Hi Jeni....

I went there, but did not do a lot of looking around yet.

Instead,  I saw the "sign up free now"... and decided to just
go ahead and start me an account there.   So far most
everywhere I read people are happy they can get their
photos onto the new groups from photobucket, so I'm
assuming that's what a lot of people are using.

I need to set a side a day just for working on loading
photos so I can use them other places.

I'll take another look around sometime in the morning.
I'm not going to work until 10 tomorrow.   Or, if you
want to make it private again tonight that is ok.   Thank
you for opening it to let me take a look....

Now... yet another new thing for my brain to learn...lol.

What a workout it is getting now days...lol.

SOME OF THE GROUPS YOU CAN LOAD FROM THE COMPUTER
 MOST HAS PHOTOBUCKET,
YUYU HAS A LIMIT ON UPLOADS, NOT MUCH EITHER, THEY HAVE STOPPED ME.
MULTIPLY SEEMS TO HAVE NO LIMITS,
CARE 2 I HAVE LOADED WITH IMAGES,NO LIMIT YET. A GROUP ON MY OWN, NOTHING BUT IMAGES FOR OTHERS.
IAIMOO HAVE NOT DISCOVERED THEIR LIMIT YET.
ALL THE GROUPS I HAVE VISITED HAVE AVANAGES AND DISAVANAGES
MULTIPLY SEEMS HARD TO SET THE WAY YOU WANT, CARE2 NOT TOO BAD, AIMINOO SYLVIAS GROUP, I BELIEVE IS GOING TO BE FAIRLY EASY. NONE IS EASY LOL. YUYU SETS UP GOOD, BUT LIKE I SAID, IMAGES ARE LIMITED, I BELIEVE WORSE THEN MSN, AND SO FAR I have seen no way you can add to your storage

 Hi  Jeni....

Thanks for the input!

Just a short note... this is loading slow, and I've been on this
machine for 2 hours already researching direct sale business
info, so I'm too tired to deal with a slow msn... and I have to
be at work in an hour.....

I visit Gran's group at YUKU... wonder where she has all her
images stored if she is not able to keep them all at that site?
Guess they use photobucket????....   She seems happy with
yuku....   my computer froze up right when I checked on her
sight yesterday.

I really love the various color schemes offered everywhere, that MSN did not offer us.

I have not heard of Care 2..... or did you mention that on the
other group info thread and I forgot... if so, sorry for my lapse.

I know with msn if we loaded a gif off of our computer it went against our storage space.... so that is what motivated us to all use the msn group albums.

In the other places.... I wonder if loading off of our computer
photo files uses up our allowed group storage?

..so many new things to figure out.   Thankfully, we still
have plenty of time to do that, thank goodness.

Off I go now.  Gonna enjoy a few minutes of sunshine on
the patio before I get dressed for work.

Another long day today... gotta put in some extra hours to be
able to pay my electric bill....  thankful that I can.

Hugs to you Jeni.... tell Nate I said hello!

Grace, i have been to your yuku, but cant make sense there. Visited last nite, could not figgure it out. Aimoo, i had to set my group on public before they could take it. So if you ever move the group, you probably have to do the same, mine was set for private, i usually keep it on semi private, but somebody had changed it without me knowing. So i will have the group there in a few days and you all can try it out.

Hi Sylvia...

I don't know how to change the layout of the page....
When I go to the place the administrator can change
things.... I can't understand the way they word things, and
so I don't know how to change anything.....

When you go there... click on the phrase "Public Forum",
that takes you to the list of discussion threads started.
I started a Weekday thread, and a Coffee thread.

When you go to those pages.... to reply click on the reply
box that is to the right of the page....

If you reply on "quick reply"... it will work... but  replying that  way does not give you the tool bar for using color or for changing fonts etc....

I have not had time to work with Aimoo or Multiply yet...

If I am unable to figure out how to do anything... then there
very well may not be a S & R group.

Some days, to be honest.... I'm ready to quit groups all
together.... if it stays as complicated as it seems right now.
I don't handle "complicated" at all....    Maybe MSN Live
Groups will save us before it's all over... just have to wait
and see.
