I found a way to CHANGE THE FONT SIZES!!!

I am soooo excited about this.

The option is available when you use Firefox to explore the internet...

instead of using Internet Explorer.

Only one thing about it is that there are no Emoticon's to use.

But... the main thing is to be able to use larger fonts, and in different colors!

It's also possible through Internet Explorer... IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE HTML AND COPY PASTE IT ETC... and that is toooo complicated for me.   I hate that Multiply does not provide a 'rich text editor' for their groups...  maybe one day they will.

I'll make another reply  on here with the links for the downloads in case someone wants to be able to use them to make replies on multiply with larger fonts.

Firefox is not perfect... but to be able to use it just to use this feature is enough for me to be able to better enjoy using the Multiply group.

Isn't this size great!

This link takes you Firefox web-browser home site, if you want to download it and "add" it to your browsing choices.

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

AFTER you download Firefox....

on the homepage of Firefox, scroll down the to bottom and you will find a lot of menu choices... one of them says "Add On's"......

click on that, and in the "search" box... paste in this
this name.... Xinha and you will then be able to download it to Firefox.

Let me know if it works..... I hope I explained it clearly enough...???

I just tested the link, and it does take you to the Firefox home page...

The add-on... Xinha..... can be typed in to the "search" blank...

it doesn't have to be pasted .... sorry for that.

I saved some links from the Multiply Help site... about using HTML to change font sizes/color etc... so I will study that as time permits ... and then later we will be able to do it via Internet Explorer too.

Just a note...

The Firefox web browser menu page... is set up different than Internet Explore....

so... that means yet more "learning"... but, just to be able to use it change the fonts at Multiply is worth it.

It took me a while to get used to NOT having the same-looking tool bar menu choices at the top of Firefox...but I am getting used to it.... "Bookmark" is the word they use INSTEAD of "Favorites". I had to get used to that... and I think I have it down.

I just wanted to warn you about it being "different". It's not something you would have to use all the time. You would only need to use it when you reply at Multiply.. to gain access to changing the fonts.

Any other internet posting, you could still do from Internet Explorer.... to be able to be in your comfort zone... and we all need that after going through all of this...lol.

Now Yahoo is making changes to their home pages!... so yet MORE learning for the brain... when will it ever stop changing???.... good grief...lol

AN UPDATE:

I've just made a decision for myself...

I will NOT EVER take time to learn HTML

I was just at a tutorial site over at Multiply about it..
and, basically NO WAY, FORGET IT!..,...LOL.

Life is too short to bother my brain with that!,
and I'm not going to put my brain through something that is
not even necessary for me.

So... if one of you can do it,

and or wants to learn it and use it to change things for your self at Multiply...

go for it.... but it's not for me.

Sooo.... that means,
Do not ask me for help about HTML.
Because this girl does not have it to give..... lol...and

A fter just the litte bit I read...
...I am not at all interested in learning it.

I found Firefox..
and an EASY way to change font size and colors...
and that is enough for me...
so I'm not going any further about it.

Just wanted ya to know... I ain't know html girl.

So any of those kind of questions will have to be directed
to someone else....somewhere else.

I've been working to de-stress my life... and that was one of the things on my stress list... .  Life feels so much lighter now.

Lesson learned:   the "hard" way... is not the only way.

We just have to sometimes keep looking for the answers that will give us what we need to know.. and that may mean taking time to research and read till we find the solution that works best for us.

I found mine!... with Xinha and Firefox.....so I'm satisifed, content, and happy. ...and stress free in this area...

Grace, Multiply has a way to change fonts, add pictures etc. On top right you will find POST, click on that and the page comes up, the trouble for me is, i dont know how to get it in the right thread after that. Jeni knows more about that than me. I read many instructions on that, but it never worked.

Hi Sylvia.....  the only message that has that "option" is the FIRST one that starts the thread....

The 'replies' that come under that.... do not ever have the same options available.

With Firefox....  all the replies can ALSO be made to have different fonts and colors etc.

Do you ever go to the Multiply group itself...?... or do you just read in  you mailbox?   The messages are so small there... and you have commented here about not being able to read font here... so I've wondered how on earth you can see the small words at Multiply.   '
Let me know.  Thanks!
