a siggy is only a graphic, or clipart with your name thus, signature (siggy) if you need help saving n posting it with your messages, i will try to walk you through it one step at a time, i am pretty new at this too, when i joined a group almost 7 months ago, i did not know how to post a message or to make a siggy, but a lot of people helped me, and jojo foxy, was the one that gave me my first siggy, and she taught me a lot step by step, if you don't have a printer, it will help you to take notes then try,i am here let me know. hugs jeni |

Marilyn. It is Monday, we have no game and I am trying to figure out what to do How are things with you? So I was reading that you plant your veggies and flowers together and they do good. I am thinking I want to try that. So what kinds do I put together? Are you good with outside gardening? I really need help. On the side of my house and directly in the front I don't get much sun so I am wondering what kind of bushes or plants can I plant that would do good? It is not time for us to plant yet but I am trying to get a plan together because we are going to rototill the entire yard, front and back and start from scratch. I have lots of lillies and iris. I have plenty Rose of Sharon trees and they do really good. I have one great big snowball bush in the back yard and some other bushes that do really good so I think I will leave them and plant flowers around them. I am going to plant lots of Hostas under all my birdhouses. I am painting and getting my birdhouses ready now. I will have about 15 of them and and big bird bath in the front yard and one in the back. If you have any ideas let me know. I am getting excited about my yard. luv & hugs rosie |

Marilyn it was good hearing back from you. I visited Oregon a couple of times but each time I was there I did not like the weather. Of course it has been a long time since I was there. I lived in California, Northern - Berkely/Oakland area and I dearly loved it. Got divorced and moved away. I always vowed I would move back but it isn't looking too good. I did good in CA in the gardening department. I grew roses and people came from far and near to see them. When I first started growing them I planted them too close together and I ended up with white and yellow on each bush. After that I experimented and had some lovely roses. I grew Jade, lemon trees, apple trees, a huge vegetable garden each year . Of course poppy was the ultimate. Butterflies and bees were very plentiful. My kids grew sunflowers and strawberries and they grew gourds and made things out of them during the winter rainy months. Here in South Bend the spring and summer season seems so short. Once you get things looking pretty it is snow time. My yard is not real big but I can be pretty once I put my mind to doing it the way I invision it. and I have enough room to have a nice garden with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and a few more veggies but I like the idea of putting flowers in with them. I am going to try that. Well dear you have a nice day. Gotta go get some rest after my paper route. Hope to hear from you again soon. |

Hi again Marilyn; Yes we lived in San Pablo, CA. We left there in 1982. I still miss it. We lived near the water and that was glorious. I have such fond memories of the time we lived there. My three children were born and reared there. We went fishing and camping all the time. Actually we traveled a lot and my ex-husband worked at Berkeley University as an engineer. I had my own photography business and I moonlighted for the Contra Costa Times. I had my own byline and all but just couldn't make enough money because I wasn't someones aunt or sister or mother---------lots of nepatism. I had to leave Ca. because my ex started using drugs and became very abusive to me and the children. We were together for 12 years, half of them were as wonderful as a marriage could be but he ran into a guy he was in the Navy with, they went out to catch up on old times and little by litte things changed until WHAM! my marriage was over. Wow what a waste. It took me 16 years to finally commit to another relationship and sometimes now I have problems. Yes I do have pets. I have Romi, a miniature schnauzer, 3 years old, weighs in at 8 pounds wet. Then I have Ninja, a South American Wood Turtle with such beautiful colors, who is trying to hybernate, a chameleon named Starr. Jeni named her. She is quite a character and changes such gorgeous colors depending on her mood and last but not least I have an Iguana, Ringo. She is 2 years old and is getting quite big, about 4 feet now from head to toe. So you probably guessed by now that I love animals. I had a yorkshire terrior, (Sassy) who weighed about 2 1/2 pounds and oh how I long for another one. They are so expensive though. I had a beautiful cat but everyone in the house was highly allergic to her so I had to find her another good home. Well gotta get some shut-eye. Just got back from my route and boy was it cold out there. I am so ready for spring that I can just smell it luv & hugs rosie |

Hiya Marilyn, hope you are well, and not working too hard, its a lovley sunny day here after the dreddful rain we had on Friday night, I was a bit worried in case we had to evacuate,, i had only just gotten my Cat misty home from the Vet she spent thursday night in there, she had an abcess on her tail and also had some dental work done, so it would have been just awful to leave her behind, we are still having some quite warm weather now the rain is gone we are still in our Summer season. the official change to Autumn is March 1st, although we do not have snow in our area it still gets bitterly cold here, some parts of NZ do have snow,. Have a great week Hugsss Toosh |
