Hello Rosie. I use to be pretty good at gardening when I use to live in California. I lived there my whole life and knew the weather and timing and what to plant back then. But here in Oregon its all different weather and since I been here 6 years now I still am learning on what to plant in this cooler weather. I have started small garden so far. I have planted lots of marigold and snapdragon and a row of sweet peas. My vegetable are bell pepers, tomatos, egg plant and onions. On the other half of the garden I have lots of strawberries that grow and come back every year. The parents love the garden and eating what I pick for them. I have lots od daffodyl (spelling) and few iris and bagonias (spelling) and tulips. I just love the outdoors in nice weather. Gardening here is much different from where I use to live. I get few magazines in the mail about gardening and love reading them. It sounds like you have a large yard which is nice. Here lots of tall pine trees grow and lots of shade. So I have few sunny areas to work with. Today here was a nice sunny day but still on the cool side. I sure is great to hear from you. You have a goodnight. Hugs Marilyn
