What Of Spring I tell myself?
A sunset or a garden shelf? I thought about a flower garden, just a tiny bit,
And then I thought you have to weed,
And someone might eat it;
It seems much nicer just to sit
And watch the sun go down,
It seems much better to relax
With no one else around,
And if I plant a garden
I'll have to weed or mow,
And then I won't have time for
My sunsets and their glow,
And I'll have deer and elk and friends,
Come by my garden without end,
And weeds would just take over,
So maybe I should just plant clover;
The deer and elk and rabbits could have that,
And I could just sit back...
And people would leave me alone
And sunsets could be watched at home.
