Clove Bundt Cake

Cream:   1 c.  butter,  2 c.  sugar

Add:   3 slightly beaten eggs, mix well

Combine:
3  c.  flour
1 Tbs.  cinnamon
2 to 3  tsp.  cloves
3/4  tsp.  baking soda
1/4  tsp.  salt

Add this to creamed mixture alternately with   1 c. buttermilk
Mix just until combined.

Grease and flour a bundt pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.

My sister had this waiting at her house, and it was delicious.  She used 3 t. of cloves... which was good...it didn't stop me at all from eating it because I love the clove spice... but it had a 'bite' to it....lol.   I think I'll try 2 tsp when I make it and see what the difference is.    She baked it in an angel food cake pan,  and had it on a cake plate with powdered sugar sprinkled all over it .... which made it look really pretty.
