Herb,
I cheated and looked it up as it is ancient history to me...but I do remember the tracks poking thru the pavement.  The last trolley ride in the Bronx was August 21, 1948
Go check out the site for some pictures.

Marvin--

Was it a Bronx trolley or a Westchester trolley?

By the way, welcome to The Bronx Zoo!

1. Westchester trolleys weren't really Bronx trolleys. They were trolleys who strayed a little too far south.

2. This can be, and often is, The Bronx Zoo. In due time, you'll see what I mean. I hasten to add that I remember The Bronx Zoo as a fun place to visit.

Herb old friend,  it seems that no real WMD were found in or beneath the sands of Baghdad, so y'think your buddy Hans Blix ought to go back for a peek-a-boo visit???
