Hi everyone out there!
I live in CHandler, AZ and i am originally from brooklyn, NY.
I went to St. Pauls School on Warren street in the 60's.
i have many memories on brooklyn and would love to talk to those living there or in the Bronx.

I moved to AZ in 1997 so my daughter Anya, can go to ASU.  The weather here in the winter (3-4 months) is beautiful.  During the summer, i cannot tolerate it.

How is everyone doing out there?
please e-mail me to say hello.
i am 49 years old - PR professional.  I always wanted to host "Saturday Night Live"
this place is full of cactus and country music.

ahhhh

OH now i know i am here (LOLOL)

I am a Latina (PR).  My daughter Anya went to ASU (Arizona State University) i work in the healthcare industry.

I have travelled to europe and lived in San Francisco, MA and in the suburbs of PA.

Warren Street is, well, near Brooklyn Heights?
we lived in a house like in the movie Moonstruck.

I have a house in Chandler, which is beautiful and drive to work in about 15 minutes.  I go to CA about 5 times a year (only about 1 hour by plane, never use my car!) I go to Santa MOnica alot and Laguna Beach.
I contribute alot to the Humane Society and LOVE DOGS

I have fond memories of Brooklyn.  Very fond memories.  I think about Brighton Beach and love to see movies of Brooklyn.  I have my family there still, well, actually the older relatives who still have the old brownstone home they bought when they arrive here in the 40's.  wish that they would leave it to me.....lol

can you tell me alittle about you?
Hi Frank....Hi Frank and the rest of you who left a message on my response.

Where is Tony Soprano when you need him?????? LOLOL

Hi Herb:

I do not like it here at all.  I have been here since January 1997 and the only thing i love is the weather during the 3-4 months of winter.  It is beautiful and i decorate my house with lots of lights and the fireplace is always on.

The weather here is OPPRESSING....The people are mostly very awful and nasty and do not like New Yorkers at all.....They can teach us a few things if you don;t mind me saying LOLOL

I am a 49 year old divorcee and my daughter Anya is the light of my life.  We also have 2 wonderful dogs and they have so much space here Herb, if it wasn't for our doggie door, they would go nuts!!  LOL

what do you do?  how old are you?

ASU is so expensive, and Anya also went to Maricopa County Community College for Forensics.  she took her exam to be an embalmer and passed.  she has done a few autopsies also -

I feel funny talking on the computer...many of my friends tell me that sometimes people are fresh, but so farm these guys have not been bad.

Thank you for responding Herb...please e-mail me again so we can talk about New York....
Happy New Year to you and your family.  Good health and happiness.

Amy Luisa

Amy, I am originally from the Bronx.  I moved to Washington D.C. after college (CCNY) and then the office was transfertred to Boulder, CO.  My entire career was working for the Federal government.  Boulder is a neat place to live.

Tucson, elevation 1s 2500 feet, so it doesn't get as hpt as the Phoenix area, but it is still very hot.  My daughter met her husband while they bost attended Arizona University graduate school

I have been retired for a while and my 4 children have moved on to other areas.

I lived in the Twin Peaks area.  Across the street was a wonderful forest.  we lived in one of those houses that looked like the house from Mrs. Doubtfire if you ever saw the movie.  Very beautiful.  I have some family out there now.  I lived there in the 80's.  I worked for a large firm on Market Street.  I remember the earthquake.  that was scary.  Anya went to St; Johns school on Chenery Street.

San Francisco was great, but very expensive.  I want to live more in Orange County.  But i LOVE LOVE LOVE Laurel Canyon!!!

gotta get out of here my friends....gotta get out of here.....

Herb, i wish i can retire.  i am waiting to. hahaha
Colorado is also very expensive.  Aspen is nice i heard.
my brother george and his family live in Seattle, he and his wife both worked for Microsoft but now he works for the government.

Today, its nice here, i took down all the xmass decorations and lights.  Anya polished and vacummed and my dogs were sitting on the couch watching tv.

i will get the oil changed from my car.  shop.

what a life huh???

again, where is Tony Soprano!!!!!!

has anyone ever thought of the old days when we were younger?  As i get older i keep thinking of the 60's....very nostalgic...very sad/happy days.

i always had someone taking care of me.....
I just thought i would throw that out there.  Seems as though, your life goes so quickly.

Amy, there are only a few places in Colorado that are expenive, mostly housing. Most people can't afford to buy a nice home in Boulder, Vail and Aspen.  The rest of the state has reasonable housing.

I found out a long time ago that your home is where you live, and you have to adjust and learn to like the locality, otherwise you will be miserable.

We all think about the old days, but we can't go back.

Amy, I live in Parkmerced, out near SF State, if you recall. I'm on the 10th floor- I must still be part New Yorker.
It's hard to believe that Loma Prieta earthquake was almost 20 years ago. We've had a few rumbles since then, but nothing like that.
I know the people who owned that Mrs. Doubtfire house, and rented it for the movie. They're not there any more, though.

Yes, the house we lived in was Just Like that house, but NOT the house.  It was really nice.

The earthquake I was in was in 1985-1986?  i don;t remember...I worked on the 18th floor of the building.

I remember it was really hard to meet nice gentelmen over there.  They were always married or taken in some way.

I love Phoenix in the winter though, today the weather was really nice.
earthquakes are scary and afterwards, make you feel very strange.

Anya is going to SF in about 2 weeks to visit friends.  its cold and foggy there now.  but she likes to go to Ghiradellis for ice cream.
how old is everyone?  what do you all do for a living?
