Think back to when you were 12 years old and living in the Bronx...Where was your favorite place to hangout?? (Remember, when you were 12)

For me...During the day it was the school yard at PS14...We used to play softball, touch football, and roller hockey there. At night, it was down at the end of Layton Ave, by the water and Nickles beach.

Up at St. Frances playground (it was where the new church now stands), all the kids pretty much gathered there.

Played softball on the fields behind the projects, touch football in the street. Punch ball at the schoolyard at PS72 as well as roller hockey , football and softball at the after school center. Or we just hung around in my friends backyard and on his stoop. Also used to take lots of long walks to Parkchester, Westchester square and Korvettes.

I went from Misericordia down past Nereid.  Lots of fun stuff there in the bushes.
