In memory of a young man who lost his life 9/11, he was a firefighter from the Bronx. I remember him as a little boy, and I remember his very close and incredibly warm family. God Bless.

Oh my god, Michael Lynch. I went to PS72 with him and we used to play at each other's homes growing up. This is said to know he went down with the 911 deal. Do you know how he died? How many kids did he have?

Michael Lynch died trying to save a woman. They know this because there were other remains also on his coat.
He had no children, was to be married in November of 2001. His family lived on Lawton Avenue, and I believe his parents still do.

During this years 911 tribute at ground zero, when Fox News was scanning the people they showed Mikes  family. They were all wearing shirts with his name on it, they showed his wife and kids.

Wrong Michael Lynch, there were two, one was from Queens who was married with kids. Michael Lynch from the Bronx was engaged to be married to Stephanie
Lucconi on November 16th of 2001.

Michael was 7th in the family of 10, had an enormous amount of nieces and nephews. Two of them read his name at the ceremony. Maybe thats what your thinking of.

You are right but the people that were shown had his picture with them and just may have been relatives.

Very possible Fred, as the Lynch family is extremely close. One of my best friends lived next door to them on Lawton Avenue, they always had a ton of kids hanging around. Alot of the cousins lived in the area too. They were extremely active in our church St. Frances de Chantal, and still remain so. I remember Michael as a young boy not a man, but the Lynch kids were always respectful, nice kids, no wiseguys. A testament to the parents who raised them. God Bless them, Stephanie, and his soul.
