Throggsnecker,
I had an uncle who was a Franciscan priest and he spent most of his adult life in Central and South America. He would come home every three years to the states for a visit and while he was home he'd bring guests to our home. One of those guest was Sister Maura Clark. Years later when my younger brother was applying for a job teaching he noticed a photo of Sister in the office of the Principal where he was being interviewed and mentioned our family's brief encounter with her. Needless to say he got the job.
The same uncle was on his last trip to the missions when he was held up by bandits and they stole all his possessions and supplies he was bringing down but when they took him out into a field and ordered him and his driver to kneel down the gun didn't work and they survived. He too has since passed on to his reward and I'm sure he and Sister Maura are smiling down on you for your post today.
By the way we enjoyed many picnics up at Ossining, I wonder who has all those corny pictures now?
