A fellow Throggs Neckian and Bronx historian passed away at 91.  What an interesting guy.

Rita, could you share some info about Mr. McNamara?

The only John McNamara I've heard of managed several major league baseball teams, including (you should pardon the expression) the Boston Red Sux.

The term "Throggs Neckian" has been used a couple of times on this board recently to describe people from Throggs Neck.

Apparently there are several Throggs Neckians.

But there is only one Throggsnecker.
