Thank you. Dad was not very well educated, and certainly not without his flaws, but he was basically a real good guy. We were lucky to have nice people for parents. |

Ironically, as I've mentioned before, Dad left suddenly 42 years ago today, March 17, 1964, the day after his 49th birthday. He was driving his truck out on Long Island in the early evening, on his way to deliver furniture. His helper at the time, a guy named Harold, told us that dad pulled the truck over to the side of the road when he felt his heart attack coming on.
