Ya, I was with Frank Bastian, Donnie Law, Joe Mongiello, Rob Cavaluzzi, Anthony DiGivano, Anthoy Garjullo, the others were more the slightly older crowd. Did you live next to Cynthia, who was a blonde chick. I dated her for at least a year when we were maybe 15 or 16 |

I think I knew Anthony Gargullo and Joe Mongiello! What school did they go to? |

I'm pretty sure Joe Mongiello went to Christopher Columbus. |

Does anyone remember a guy nick-named "Meatball", or Al Vega or Phil Dibene? |

Yes Rich I knew "Meatball" and Phillie DiBene. Don't know what happened to Meatball, but Phillie died about 6 or 7 years ago from cancer. I loved that guy before he got involved with some very bad drugs. I used to live upstairs from him and Diane when they were married on Brinsmade Avenue. Actually Tom and his brother lived there, but I was always there. Joe Mongiello...I remember his GTO very well, all the girls loved it....I was very good friends with his younger brother Albert who married one of my best friends Marilyn Frano...whose brother Ronnie Frano was a Wild One and one of the Navajo's. |

If you know Phillie, you must know the brothers Warren and Wayne Tierney and Russ Bimbo...he used to drive around in a white station wagon with the stars and stripes all over it...it was aptly named "Stars and Stripes". |

You might also know a real creepy guy by the name of Neil Agavino....he was an attendant down at Jacobi's morgue. In his living room he had a casket converted into a couch. Strange strange dude. |

Rita, that hit me hard. I knew Phill and the rest of his friends since about 1967. He was one of my closest friends. Meatball and his friends modified my 69 Charger 440 R/T S.E. to do wheelies. God, we all burnt enough rubber in those days. I wonder if Dianne knew Meatball? For the past 10 years, ( since I had a p.c.), I've been searching for those guys. Al Vega had red hair, his Mom was Puerto Rican but he couldn't speak any Spanish. I'd like to chat one day with you by phone or Yahoo Messenger with voice, o.k.? I'm wondering what drugs Phil was on? I wish I could've helped him. Got any photos of him or the rest ? |

PS....Rich I've lost all my pictures in my various moves over the years, but I will ask my sister in law if she has any and post them. She was a big picture taker in those days and always around too. I'll ask her today. |
