You know the drill. . .(name tune and group). . .

Is this a lasting treasure

These are a few of the thing he loves

Yes, we see

When he walked me home

The August stars were shining bright

He don't get no breaks

We'll make them turn their heads

I'm sick in bed

And lots of wavy hair like Liberace

Birds high up in the trees

To you I'm just a kid

I prayed and prayed

I could be satisfied

Spring is here, the sky is blue

Is this a lasting treasure -- "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?"  written by Carlie Simon

Yes, we see -- "Leader of the Pack"  Longest skid in history

Birds high up in the trees -- I know it; don't tell me ...'Lover's Melody'?  something like that.

Spring is here, the sky is blue -- "Goin' to the Chapel"

Why do people confuse those two?

When he walked me home- Da Doo Run Run (sp?)
We'll make them turn their heads- Be My Little Baby-
Both by the Ronettes, with lead singer Veronica Bennett, who was married to Phil Spector, who produced a lot of these.

... and Leader of the Pack ('Lieder of the Pack'?  'Liter of the Pack'?) was the Shangri-Las.
