Invitation from
The Office of Bronx Borough President
Adolfo Carrión, Jr.

Dear Friends:

It is a pleasure to invite you to participate in our 34th annual Bronx Week celebration, taking place from Saturday, June 19 to Saturday, June 26.

The entire month of June 2004 will be Back To The Bronx Month, and schools and neighborhoods across the borough will welcome back alumni and friends. The celebration will peak during Bronx Week, when famous sons and daughters of the borough will themselves return home for induction to the Bronx Walk of Fame.

Throughout Bronx Week, events will celebrate the people, places and businesses of the Bronx. Among the themes are Health & Environmental Awareness Day, Community Awareness Day, Arts & Culture Day, Youth Day, and The Bronx At Work Day, when we’ll heighten awareness of my new initiative to help Bronxites more easily access job opportunities.

Bronx Week is the ideal time to remind all New Yorkers that The Bronx is a great place to live, work and play. Complete the attached applications, and be part of our annual celebration of pride.
