Okay, we've established that Whitey Ford was known as The Chairman of the Board.
Name the Yankees of old who match these nicknames:
Bullet Bob Gooneybird Rags Billy the Kid The Junkman Old Reliable King Kong Scooter Crow Country Man of the Hour The Dago Moose The Plowboy The Major Suitcase The Springfield Rifle The Connecticut Yankee (There were 2 of them) Rock (There were 2 of them as well) The Chief Flash (There were 2 of them; 1 recently) |

Rags- Dave Righetti Scooter- Phil Rizzuto Dago- could've applied to several but I think it was the great Joe D. Country was Enos Slaughter, who finished his career as a Yankee but was really a St. Louis Cardinal. Moose, of course, was Chicago product Bill Skowron. |

Not bad, guys.
There were 2 "Rocks." Tim Raines was one. Who was the other?
Name the 2 Flash Gordons.
I'll tell you who the Connecticut Yankees were: Frank (Spec) Shea and Rollie Sheldon.
"Man of the Hour" was the recently departed Hank Bauer. |

The 2 Flash Gordons were Joe and Tom. Trust me, they were not related.
The other Rock was Gene Woodling, born on August 16th, just like me. . .whch also the day that Babe Ruth and Elvis died. |
